I felt so miserable, Lux/Sona/Ashe all long-enough range/poke to hang in the back, Eve has W to dodge mine easy as pie, and I really don't want to "catch" the full tank Shen and initiate on him. Then the teamfights usually went enemy team pussying out until we're close to an objective, either Ashe hits an ult or Eve bumrushes us with her ult and Shen's, Shen taunts me and I can only activate my ult, drop Q or W and Zhonya, just to get killed before I can get any spells off as I become targetable again. But when your team is Cait, Zyra, Rengar, Shaco and you're the closest thing the team has to a frontline you gotta take one for the team. ;_; I wish I had the replay of that game so I could look at the teamfights again, because as is I don't know if I fucked up and should have hanged back with the others and only tried to kite/peel for Cait, or if standing there to draw attention from their fed Ashe and absorb one or 2 cc was the right call. It's not like I'd do much damage because his E animation is clunky as hell and his W has a bit of a cast time as well so most of the time only one spell would go off before I'd die (despite coming out of Zhonya with ~1k HP). Maybe I should have just went balls out tanky with FH or some shit, but it's so hard to farm as Swain (or other DoT/periodic damage oriented mages like Morgana) when the team starts grouping and everyone kills creeps so fast you barely get any. Emphasises the importance of a good laning phase where you've got to farm as much as possible I guess. | ||

My biggest obstacle is that goddamn ladder anxiety (don't need advice on that, already know all the logic behind it, sadly anxiety often flies in the face of a cool head). Must stream and force myself through it. I think I'm going to but an IP boost sat or sun and just grind solo q all day. Anyone interested in watching that?  | ||

 .I got Sivir one games and tried the new Phage/Triforce on her, seemed REALLY strong, found I was topping 600MS with boots2 in most teamfights. I really like what they did with the new Phage, so much more interesting than the old one. | ||
