He remains a defiantly powerful pick top lane and he absolutely does not need any reworks. Although removing Jayce, Elise and Nidalee from the game would be a nice buff, fuck those guys. Everyone else he lanes just fine against, and he outscales basically every top laner. | ||

I don't know if I agree that life sustain in teamfights is always alright. Seems to me like too much sustain on someone who's really hard to take down is really bad in teamfights, unless they don't do all that much in teamfights. I don't even agree with too much sustain is a problem in lane. Since it's not burst healing, ganking won't allow sustain to play much of a factor. It's like saying that champs with good laning phases are bad because the champs with bad laning phases can't win, so it either turns into a farmfest or aggression on the part of the good laner. | ||

Then you gank the everliving shit out of him because he has 0 escapes. Also, wouldn't mages like Kennen and Vlad give him some trouble? Virtually resourceless poke champions that can easily build sustain and poke him forever, while he can q them at best. | ||

I actually feel like WW could be pretty strong in the jungle since the madred's razor changes. In fact feels like with the amount of dmg output by his atk speed, combined with madred's razer passive, as well as his built in sustain, he could probably pull some crazy lvl 4 dragon stuff with a pink. Overall though feels like the madred's razor change really buffed jungler's with atk speed in their kit. | ||

Getting an enemy below 50% and then zooming away with your super speed works sometimes. I'll admit he has trouble vs early ganks, but that's what wards are for. Once you get a chain vest it's not too ridiculous to be able to 1v2 if you play your cards right, I can't count the number of times a jungler ganks for his ~60% hp top laner and I just kill the laner and chase the jungler away. Kennen is a huge prick, but if you can avoid Qs then you can sustain through auto harass decently. If he tries to all in you and you aren't low, you'll win. It is a bad match-up though. Vlad is a funny lane. Pre first back is annoying, but once you get Chalice it's pretty smooth sailing. If you just Q each other you win. There's nothing Vlad can build that can allow him to both hurt you and not die to your all in. When you do fight each other, if you win you can hunt him down, if he wins you zoom away at super speed. If he ever pools stupidly it's a free kill. Warwick gets bullied pre-5 by most champs, can't really argue. But if you can get enough gold to buy either a Chain Vest or a Chalice (depending on enemy), you're in decent shape for the laning phase. Yeah maybe, to be honest I never jungle WW, I just know he can't get enough farm in there to be the monster he is in top lane, it's almost a different champion. | ||

Not to mention Cris's play style is to utterly dominate kids from laning phase on. Vlad doesn't fit the bill imo. | ||

He suffers against top laners that can either abuse him early on before his mana pool starts expanding (like Olaf), or clears waves extremely efficiently and forces him to lose CS under tower. EDIT: Sunfire cape doesn't help Warwick early, especially when he's still concerned about getting CDR/expanding his mana pool for sustainability. :p | ||
