The impt thing is: who is Dinter sleeping with?
An unimpressive support suddenly becomes a carry who misses siege minions with 0 opponents and ults AIR with mf ult. you heard that right. MISSING with mf ult.

It's kinda obvious why TPA gave up. Their new jungler is just as bad.

I think about these things.
Actually they're not. Costco is usually cheaper/gives you more for your money. I unfortunately only have a sam's club by me. And there is maybe only 2 free sample stands at any given time, and half the time 1 is to show you a new carpet cleaner or some shit. >_> Plus they're too cheap to have more than like 3 cashiers at a time, even though there are about 15 checkouts.

The difference is
Costco is known for treating their employees super well (cashiers earn an average of $16/hr), while Sam's Club is owned by Walmart.

Hey, 2 buck (or rather 3 buck) Chuck is the way to go for wine.
Why do you care how your vodka tastes, it's vodka. I can understand the difference between different brands of whiskey or rum, but vodka is just deciding if you want to abrade your throat with 150 or 100 grain sandpaper.
EDIT: We're getting a costco back home finally. Maybe I'll ditch my silly research internship which only pays like 9 an hour and go work there next summer huehue.

Trade Joe's recently introduced TJ branded $10 4L boxed wines of Shiraz and Chardonnay, they are selling like hotcakes.

Boxed wine FTW. 5 liters for a 12 dollar Franzia rose split with my girlfriend. Those were great for a nice home cooked dinner and movie before we went out. Also, Paisano/Carlo Rossi Red Mountain Wine. 10 bucks for a gallon? Yup, I'm sold. I love that stuff. My grandpa, an old italian, drinks a glass every night with dinner. Swag.
All that being said, I love beer and wine and can't wait till I have the paycheck to buy good quality drinks. Not a really hard alcohol fan. I lose track of hard alcohol too quickly and one minute I am having fun and the next minute I find myself waking up in a strange place.

Eww boxed wine is only good for cooking. I've been having a lot of Bourbon lately. Mainly Jack actually.

how important really is a 2k-3k gold lead. every time a team gets an advantage like this, casters are always very quick to say "oh its going to be extremely hard for Team A to come back from this disadvantage as Team B has a strong lead right now with their 2.5k gold lead." On average that is a 500 gold advantage for for each team member, translating into a ruby crystal, a long sword or a amp tomb. Is that really that game changing? Of course I'm talking about the ~15-20 minute mark. A 2k gold lead within the first ten minutes actually has a pretty big impact.

It depends on who has the gold, which is an important context that casters usually don't touch on

Also walmart and sams club are equaly owned by the same company. The guys name was Sam walmart after all. I can't honestly say I've seen a costco in central minnesota. Must be one of your southern chains that you don't let go north to join the union.

LOL Dyrus is streaming right now and a windows update restart window is above where his playlist usually is, the chat is going nuts and he doesn't realize.

You have never tried decent vodka obviously. At least you dont have to force yourself to drink it if you pay a little more. Good vodka tastes very well particularly while eating. Russian dinners are awesome, it's an experience you have to make.

+ Show Spoiler +From playing games like Pokemon and Age of Empires 3 where stats are easy to calculate and modify, or even starcraft...
+1/+1 zealots murder 0/0 zealots and pokemon with 25% more base stats move faster, resist more, and do more damage. Often meaning that the pokemon with 25% more base stats(in an equal level battle tower mirror matchup) will 2hko the one with less stats and will move first. In age 3, the winning side always has more units left over, and fights are almost never even. This means that the next fight, the winning side will have more units and an even bigger army.
I know there is micro in LoL and some champs are better late game.
But since good micro goes both ways, overall I'd say the advantage in the next fight is guessable. sqrt(%strengthWinningSide/%strengthLosingSide)/2 is a commonly used (but nonsensical) calculation people use for "advantage" strength can be defined as (base stats + baseStatsFromGold) From here you just need to figure out how to relate advantage to %chance to win the next fight.
Then there's the factor that LoL is a team game and people on the winning team can do retarded shit when 20-5 and get stalled out by a splitpushing jungle Shaco for 20 minutes instead of closing a game properly. And the factor where, by playing safe a team can grow an advantage.
Overall I think LoL is more snowbally than Starcraft BW but less than games like AoE3 or pokemon. In LoL even if a losing team wins one fight, that only puts the losing team even or slightly less strong than the losing team. This means that a losing team has to consistently win fights to come back.

I want to make a list of the absolute worst champions in the game that nobody in their right mind should ever play ever. Like the ones that are incredibly badly in need of reworks. What champs do you guys think fit this category?
Warwick and Poppy come to mind. Sion.
Shyvana maybe, in that Shyv isn't BAD but there are more modern junglers that do all the same things better.
AD Yi maybe?
Should be a fun topic.

Warwick close to my highest win-rate champ. But yeah he's pretty bad. Gotta max CDR and build really tanky really early. But of course everyone just spams attack speed for some reason.
|
Warwick is very nice for lower play, where not everyone and their mother goes around toting CC champs so ult = guaranteed gank.

If one single person has a 3k gold lead, that's pretty significant. It's being a whole completed item ahead. If each team member is up 600 gold, it's less important, but still significant (support can buy more wards + get oracles -> gain vision control -> snowball that way, for example)

The sad truth is that in the modern jungle, ESPECIALLY with this most recent patch, junglers who can't gank pre-6 should never be used.
That first gank or initial buff invade can decide an entire game, so you MUST play a jungler who has a strong level 2 or level 3.
Junglers who are irrelevant before 6, like Warwick, simply cannot be played atm.
That's my opinion at least.
