I once went to a pizza place in Lund with a Swedish friend of mine.
They had two sizes, "personal" and "family". Personal was tiny so I ordered a family size.
The guy said "Family size is too big for one person." to which I replied "Sir, I am an American."
He laughed and brought the pizza to me in a to go box. I ate the entire thing and gave him the box back, and then got sick back at the house.
True story!

This reminds me of that one Day9 line while he was playing Amnesia talking about how he bought a family bucket of KFC and said something along the lines of "I don't have a family, it's all for me"

Day9 can't eat KFC though, he's a Muppet.

Yeah most pizza places are like that. They should really have a size inbetween regular and family size. What did you think of swedish pizza compared to american pizza? Did you try our swedish (lol) tradition, kebabpizza?
|
I'm not sure I was too impressed with the Swedish pizza, but it was the only one I had in the country and it was like a low key college student place, not a fancy pizza joint.
Really American pizza is very different from the sort of pizza you get in Europe, which is typically much more Italian. I'm apparently crazy for thinking this but I like American style pizzas more in general. I've had some real good pizza in Italy, though.
I have never heard of a kebabpizza but I can imagine it and the idea makes me lol.
I really liked Scandinavian food in general when I was there, though. I had herring a number of times and loved it every time. In Finland I got to eat moose and reindeer which were both amazing, in Sweden I had some good mead, and sour milk! (wat)
Was a fun trip.

I can verify this. Used to get those pizzas all the time with my friends. Dirt cheap and some of the best pizza i've ever had

Kebabpizza is great, as strange as it may sound. Some pizza places in Sweden have american style pizza too, but I prefer swedish pizza. Moose and reindeer are really delicious, if you know someone who hunts it's pretty easy to get hold of shitloads of moose meat rather cheap, so we eat that a lot (atleast up north, probably different in the south).
By sour milk, do you mean "Filmjölk"? http://www.flickr.com/photos/acampos/3454109136/ That stuff?
Edit: Where in sweden did you go?

Yeah that stuff. It's actually quite good.
I only went to Stockholm, Kalmar, Lund and Malmo in Sweden, I sort of did it on my way between Finland and Germany. Was there about two weeks.
Some other fun moments in Sweden included, but were not limited to:
Hitchhiking a boat ride to get to Birka.
Watching a fencing tournament that they did in Kalmar on the walls to the castle.
Having to sleep behind a tree in a park one night, but it being okay because the park had free wifi.
Seeing a car full of highschool students drive by blasting Caramelldansen.

Cool Free wifi op ^^
I remember blasting that damn song myself a few years back lol. If you ever go back to Sweden, time it with a Dreamhack event, they're pretty great.

Pizza places in Sweden are very different. I have two within a block from where I live, one is absolute shit and the other is good. Then there is this one out in the sticks where I used to live, makes godly pizzas. And they're all run by italians.
On topic, I haven't been able to play alot of league lately on account of hand injury or something. It seems this always happens whenever I get some kind of breakthrough in my understanding or mechanics about the game. Whenever I'm about to leave gold, I get injured...

Just bought Jayce. Didn't think he was that hard to pick up, you really can't all-in anybody at all :/ Thank god his mid-game is godlike.
|
Looks like Kha's getting back into line with other assassins with those changes. Waiting on some nerfs to Zed.
Also, normalizing Wriggles proc huge nerf. Can't claim you took blue buff by accident with a feeding mid.
+ Show Spoiler +but srsly, I was wondering when they'd normalize it.

Was a fun trip. Reindeer costs a ton though. Like 10 times the amount of beef. Even so, t's really good.
Oh wait this was the LoL discussion thread. Hmm ... Well now that no one interesting is streaming it's actually pretty boring and I cannot find anything about the game to talk about -.- back to Eien no Aselia.

The pizza here in Lesotho isn't that great. They don't even use tomato sauce.
However. After 7 months of no American pizza, it still tastes fantastic.
