Rankings and Elo are almost completely meaningless, and by the time you're good enough to actually derive any useful information out of them you don't need them. Relevant biblical quote: "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known."

Exactly, this is why I still think I'm better than 99% of the players in this game even though I'm plat 5 gggggggggggggg

Hi DarkForce, we faced each other a few times in the last months (nick MrTolkien) and I'd be happy to help. I formed a team with TLers a few months ago, but we went pretty inactive recently... I'll ask the others what's up, and ask them if they want to reform a team! I'd really like to play 5v5s more regularly as well...

I think a lot of lurkers who don't frequent the GD thread as much would come out of the woodworks if you made a similar thread for EU. Edit: There were even some EU players who posted there. Maybe PM them?

I always hear pros and high level people talk about how they focus on only improving themselves and stuff, but I'm like the opposite. I've been banned multiple times for toxic behavior (mostly bming teammates) and I get really frustrated when people make mistakes in game. I go on huge losing streaks because I go on tilt after a loss, instead of learning from it. It's like, I know what I should be doing, but once I get into game I forget completely about learning and just improving, it's all about getting the win. How can one fix that? Well if you know you go on tilt after a loss, force yourself to pause after each one. Go and make some tea, watch a series episode, take a walk, whatever to take the game (or at least the negativity associated) off your mind. Should reduce the tilting. As for the "blaming the teammates" part, I think it's really a self-conscious thing, where you have to imprint it onto yourself that you're bad too and make mistakes, and think about it every time you die/fuck up something. Even if it's to think "What a scrub, he ruined everything, 99% his fault 1% mine!", focusing on that 1%. I don't think I noticed it. That, or you're talking about the background music (the track has some singing in it, could be that rather than a SFX).
