As for the actual pizza I had last night, it was not bad. Nothing like Pizza Orgasmica where I go to more frequently in SF but it's ok for the price (had I paid for it). I definitely wouldn't accept the price/size of their pizza without the pizza.gg coupon though. fk dat.

The food business is the same way. When you buy at a chain vs a local place that's money not going to the local parlor. I'd generally always try to support a local pizza parlor over a large food chain. Same for local diners vs places like IHOP. I know way too many really good local places that went out of business because of the idea of it being "snob mentality" and that the chain is "good enough" and "so close and blah blah *insert reason.*" The quality will generally steadily decline and people will just accept it if it's done quietly and good marketing was used to sell it. Like even pizza hut had a lot better quality when it first came out. Now it's pretty trash compared to what it used to be years ago. It's not being a "snob" it's about actually appreciating good things and supporting it. I also despise businesses that treat their workers like shit too, so that's another thing, especially ones arrogant enough to be open about it.
