Teams gotta protect those secret starts. But really if you're going to try some crazy cheese you wouldn't bother using it in a scrim. I guess teams just like their privacy.
I actually disagree, crazy cheese probably should be scrimmed with (as long as you dont scrim vs. TSM) so you can work out the kinks and learn strengths and weaknesses of it. This is especially true with the way matches are scheduled for LCS.
I wish more teams WOULD stream some scrims though... it's so interesting. But I guess there are too many reasons not to...
I guess you would just have to try it against teams that you weren't going to use it on in the LCS. In that case it would probably just be better to try it against teams that aren't in the LCS (I'm sure [M], MYM, and ALTERNATE are still down to scrim LCS teams). And like you said, gotta be careful about those leaks. Agreed though I love watching team scrims, I find listening to the team chatter to be incredibly interesting.

Rengar nerfs were pretty harsh, they gutted him before rebuffing him a little while later. Not playing him until then was justified.
Well even now, I've tried to play Rengar, mainly as a splitpusher and trying to be a disruptive bruiser who jumps on the carries in teamfights, and I find myself just going back to Nidalee because I can't make Rengar work. I feel like I can't 1v1 well enough, and I can't kill a squishy even if I jump on them with nobody peeling me off. 120 damage off the W-EmpW burst just sucks so much :/

Well, Diana was overnerfed, the mecanics of her W was completly fucked up and didn't deal any damage at all. Quite hard to play a champ with only 3 spell + passiv.
I mean he seems OK, but there's a reason we aren't seeing him in pro play or anything. I think Riot actually did a really good job of re-buffing Diana after her harsh nerfs. She's in a pretty good spot right now, not faceroll but strong. I think a big reason a lot of people still aren't playing her is because of the negative impression players got playing her right after the nerfs.
I wouldn't say Rengar is okay he can't really beat anyone top at the moment. Least without his opponent being really bad. His win rate is among the lowest too. Even if you do win your lane, you can't really transfer that over to being strong in teamfights.Best you can do is go Sword of the Divine and blow up one person.
