Although honestly now that they're making a salary I would think teams would just hardcore practice rather than focus on streaming. I'm sure that's what some of the EU teams are gonna end up doing and that's what the Koreans already do.
If Riot is paying teams $175k per team and that number is the same for every region then Riot is paying $1.4 million per region. Jesus. I'm pretty sure they don't forsee to earn any money from their e-sport branch before a little time, like 2 to 3 years investment.

I'm surprised Curse keeps him, but if we learned anything from CLG, NA has no good supports. I think Liquid and him are too good of friends. Still wish they would have tried out Rhux at support a little longer. I think keeping Elementz is a good idea. Been watching a lot of Curse scrims recently, he really has gotten a lot better. I felt that if they kept using rhux, it would've ended up like aphro/loco in support.
Liquid was the one that made the decision to switch out Elementz for Rhux for a trial period, so I don't think it's really a friendship thing.

I think the only thing we learnt from CLG is that they don't know how to scout talent or doublelift doesn't know how to scout talent.

Unless Rhux did amazing and carried Curse to the finals of IPL5 I think the plan was always to have Elementz come back pretty quickly. I agree Elementz has improved, but I still think he's the weak link of Curse. At the same time you are right, the NA support pool isn't very big at the moment. That said, if they found some support prodigy I wouldn't mind if they tried him in place of Elementz lol.

We don't really know what Elements does outside of the game for the team though. You will always have a weak link in a team and as long as that weak link does his job it's not too bad. You might find someone better but if Elements does stuff for the team outside of the game that helps and the new guy doesn't then it might not really be an improvement. It's hard to say from the outside.

I don't think there's anyone free on NA that can replace Elementz... Plus we need someone to play random ass supports, like fiddle and nautilus.

The problems on EUW have shown me something tho. Loss Forgiven has no effect on Promotion series. Got a loss forgiven yet it still counts as a loss in the bo3.

Wouldn't it result in no loss of league points thought? So say you lose one, win one, and have one loss forgiven. You should be at approximately 100 league points after that series and basically start a new promotion series anyway.

brunch club has one of the most solid bot lanes in NA, LCS or not Ellie Beee/MeyeA and brunch are a really fantastic combo. had TBC not made it to salary, one or both of those two would have been picked up by top teams, i have no doubt

EUW has been breaking all day. 4hours means the queue is broken/limited again. It was 5 minutes when i tried it but it seems that ranked is disabled for a while after every game i get to play :p
Guess there are a lot of new players coming back with s3 and breaking the internet backbone a bit.

Is it just me, or are there huge number of particle effects that are bugging out this patch? I've seen Anivia q go invisible, pretty much all of Ezreal's stuff go invisible/change colors, this weird orange/green flashing after Thresh has thrown his lantern, Nidalee spears change color/go invisible, Orianna's ball changing into this weird green color while having a square over it, and who knows how many others.

all i know of madlife is missing every hook and making 0 plays vs gambit at IEM. Support is a very straight forward role that depends 100% on your synergy with ad.

BabyZeus is 1 game away from Challenger. He's losing pretty hard though. Oh shit he's winning now.

Speaking about supports n stuff, is GP/5 quints and yellows mandatory or just straight up better than a bit of AP + ms quints ?
Cause right now I'm totally too poor to afford 3 rune pages and to even buy the GP5 runes lol
