I am sad now. By demoted do you mean, not promoted? Everyone else has been talking about how there's actually no demotion, you just start losing mmr but stay in your league or w/e. Unless you mean from I->II->III etc. | ||

When you get dropped you gain 50 points. I lost 4 and won 1, and then on the 5th loss I got demoted, Losing roughly 15-22 points a game. | ||

When you kill mid lane through a gank as jungler and theres a wave building, and the other jungler is someone who needs 6, instead of pushing the wave and backing so that their jungler gets a gigantic wave and will actually be ahead of you, zone their jungler out of that exp and make their mid get it when he comes back to lane, this is sometimes done at top but very rarely at mid. | ||

My best advice is to stay calm and not get angry over losses despite having trolls. If you stay calm and don't get angry its a lot easier to carry games where you have terrible teammates. My promotional matches to Diamond I had players not performing well on my team each game and I just stayed focus and ended up carrying through. I have noticed getting angry usually = gg trying to win games if your teammates do poor. | ||

You get placed into gold I, then you play, if your mmr is increasing you can placement matches for gold II>Gold III>Gold IV>Gold V>Platinum I....etc ? (and you need to win 3/5 placement matches) And can you get demoted like in sc2 ? I see some people are saying demotes don't exist...but if they do, i assume its in the opposite order  | ||

There's no demotion series, it just happens, and you can't go below a tier (gold plat etc) once you're there. If you hit gold5 you can never be demoted to silver again. | ||
