To be fair, you did ask a lot and in several places for people to support your team, to the point where it seemed like lobbying rather than PR stuff, and you also only talked about them to say they were superior to the competition with regards to the LCS qualifiers (not that you were confident they could win it all and stuff, just that they were superiors).
At the start I thought "hey he's part of the community, present and stuff, let's give him support", and I did enjoy the coordination and potential displayed by DNG. But the way you praised your team and insisted and, in some way, "plugged" them everytime you came to post in the thread started to feel awkward. Then I read your post in the ToG thread were you do the same to ask people to vote in the fan art contest for your friend, because she obviously drew "the best entry" and stuff, with the link. Then I'm a scrub and confused another TL LoLer with you because the post reminded me yours in the LCS thread.
Now I can't arbitrarily tell if you're acting this way on purpose, whoring for support and attention, or if it's simply your way of showing stuff and trying to help what/those you like that is a bit awkward, but since it can pretty easily be perceived as the former Roffles actually has a point.
(And this doesn't have to be taken as an insult, it's just input from somebody who looked into DNG after reading your posts and how he felt about the "advertising".)

Since the majority just sit back and play the game. However if they read pr0lly/Cris are troll ragers they will become suspect to believe that. TL had no love for Cris. Cris also received his very own hate thread. When he was abusing Black Cleavers to try and push some elo. His rage wasn't turned off and that was the peak high of his viewers. Now he sits struggling to break what, 50 viewers. yeah, i need to work on their stream schedules and promoting them a lot of people hate a lot of people, mostly for no reason saint vicious gets a ton of hate but when i spoke with him in LA he was super nice, really friendly, and just a down-to-earth guy. in the same vein, i thought scarra was god but he was a dick in real life so idk i just don't judge people online any more Online is the only way for 99% of the community to form an opinion on someone. Saint doesn't get hate, he is loved on the Reddit side. If any hate is directed at him, its from yelling at poor Nyjacky when they streamed scrims. You can dislike Scarra because you had the 1% interaction, but how does he portray himself online. Like an outstanding member of the community, good play and advice. The community doesn't blindly guide hate onto players. They are quick to reward the decent players, box box for example. His kindness earned him a feature stream and over $500 in the span of two days. Players that can't handle themselves properly get shunned. Destiny, Vman, Grackis, Athene etc. If you expect to profit from this game, you can't go around acting like a dick. The community also never forgets.
You also have to take into account that when these guys all play solo queue, they'll run into the same people over and over. And I'm not gonna lie, pr0lly and Cris have some really piss poor reputations because people have seen them play on other people's streams and they've been total assholes. So please instead of trying to force us to believe that your players are actually Mother Teresas, make them change their image instead. Telling us won't do shit, because no one's gonna believe you until we see shit happen

As far as I can tell bly posted something stupid, got corrected, tacitly admitted fault by his third post, everything was fine, but now it's a three-way shitfest between Roffles, gtr, and bly because none of them can admit being wrong to each other ever.
This is like a bad family reunion. All it needs is the marble cake that dried up in the sun and that second cousin once removed who's totally hot but it's all awkward because you're family and you don't live in a place where that's acceptable.

What have you been building? I tried to teach Soniv the way of the ninja with Gunblade, DFG and Lichbane but he kept ulting directly into Zyra roots and knockup.

I like to be conservative and try to gain small advantages or out-plan the opponent as opposed to going for that all-in play to kill. I think this is why I'm AD for my 5s team and either AD or jungle in solo q.

Playstyles do matter but with something as broad as "assassin" you will most likely find someone you are comfortable with and enjoy. Sure you might not get 100% out of the champion but then again don't think any of us will get 100% out of a champion. You will be less likely to do those amazing 1 hp kills or something like that but will still be fine. Maybe one day even start doing that if you comfortable enough.

The best build I've found to be was Gunblade, sorc boots, Deathcap, Defensive item (I like GA because the revive is amazing on an all-in champ like akali) and then finish it off with Lichbane and void staff.

TBH Roffles comes off like this has been a long time coming and this particular incident just acted as a trigger to release some pent-up frustration.

Do you think the cost-effectiveness would still be as much of a factor at 6 items or is it a matter of needing the health earlier in the game so you might as well get Warmogs as a third item and at that point you have your defensive item?
