Guys, is flask+ward+1blue+4red the best start for every top/middle with mana? When should you/shouldn't you use it? I feel like it gives you so much more safety+sustain at the start that you can make even bad matchups work...

Mids may enjoy flask+faire+2 red for a fast chalice but yeah that or going full pots for a usually bad match up for you.

Well that's because it's more or less the best opening in every situations (except if you're like Kass or Katarina or Riven) that Flask's going to be nerfed.

The 1800's are fucking terrors. Players are good enough to win with their skill, but not smart enough to win with knowledge. When they lose to knowledge (things like proper warding, proper positioning, team fighting, when to group etc.) all they do is bitch and whine. This was prominent enough that hotshot changed the title of his stream to how much of a terror the 1800's are. He also did it last season. And you have players like shake an durr who are perpetually pulled down. I spent 400-500 games to get out of the 1800 range, and only 100 games to go from 1900-2200.

There's just something about the skill of players in the 1800's that can only be overcome by mass spamming of games. I remember when antimagefromdota was 1800. He had over 1400 games played before he got to 2200.

Just about anyone can. It's just not always possible as Cho offers a lot of potential for counterplay.

Actually I don't think I've ever beaten a Cho before in lane since I started playing ranked.

Nunu is fairly hilarious, one of the few champions who can outsustain cho and neither has a lot of damage :p

Kha'zix can also beat him fairly easily 1on1 from middle levels onwards, as long as you wait to go all in until he has eaten a minion he can hardly touch you.

Cho actually has trouble dealing with Akali, one she hits 6-ish you just can't out-sustain her harass and she heals up really fast with revolver.

In my experience, you can win against cho as yorick. People tell you cho counters yorick. They are wrong, your combo rapes him pretty hard, and when he is at 50%, he cant sustain anymore because every time he gets close to the creeps, he gets ewq again. At least that is my experience with the matchup, but i am neither very good, nor do i main toplane. But when i play toplane, i play yorick, and a lot of people pick cho against him.
