I don't think jiji played that poorly that game, never got caught, had some good ults, and he played fairly solid most of the game. Chauster and loco did incredibly badly though lol.

Wow. This is going to be more than embarrassing if they are not winning the next two games. Holy fucking shiiieeet.

And even despite Loco's questionable play, CLG had a super strong tank line for DL but didn't make any use of it.

Moar like Chauster top + Loco support.

Those 2 guys are very good players by themselves but... Not at those positions >>

I thought Chauster did really well this game (in lane), he was up quite a bit in CS and created constant pressure top. He just got caught a bunch of times after that.

Locodoco's support play regarding his decision making is weaker than I expected. I don't get why CLG isn't 4man peeling for DL and let him carry them?

In fact, DL did incredibly well at kiting Malph + Irelia 1v2 and killing both.

It's pretty much exactly on par with what we predicted.

Loco is almost singlehandedly losing this game, though getting a bit of help from Chauster here and there.

Chauster definitely got caught a few times. However I think Locodoco is trying too hard to engage and therefore couldn't peel for Double. Also, either he's lagging/jetlagged/just not warmed up/etc, because his reaction on almost everything is too slow. Late exhaust and not using ulti until he's less than half health.

Edit: I think he's carrying some of the carry mentality where he must always keep himself alive.

Laning is prob the easiest part of changing positions I feel. It's what you do with yourself after that that's hard to practice and it showed there

Yeah, jiji and Doublelift played fine.

They would've won most of those teamfights had Loco not wasted everything on nothing (or died in fights without using anything, i.e. ult/Shurelya's). Most of the fights came down to a slight edge where one marginally better move would've let Vayne clean up.

Chauster also got caught repeatedly, which didn't help, but that wasn't what lost their team fights.

Doublelift back broke that game. I still don't like vayne picks, especially against something like ez. Sorta felt he could've gotten more done with another ADC.

Any other AD (except for Trist maybe who DL just doesn't play for whatever reason) can't pump out so much damage in such a short time window which was definitely required to even stay in the game. Before they lost the 2nd inhibitor, they still had a pretty big chance to win this imo, but they refused to properly peel for DL who was on his own most of the time.

Nothing against DNG, but if CLG.na doesn't win this, it's really embarassing. Time for another roster change? :p

Vayne pick was fine, but his team didn't play to give him any support. He was off on an island every fight and still almost pulled it off.

I agree, but he didn't play amazing. Considering how heavy Loco and Chau were that game, he definitely had to put on his carry pants, and he didn't do so.

Loco's only had like 1 night of playing support with doublelift, so obviously tons of room for improvement.

I'm more interested as to why Chau and Hsgg switched role. I'm guessing Chau doesn't know how to play high utility junglers yet?

Well that was sort of the reason why I didn't like the vayne pick. It requires the rest of CLG to do their job.

Coming from the guy who said he would be heavier than woong. lol :D I agree, he's still new to the role, plenty of learning to do.

No. It's because Hotshot doesn't know how to play vlad. Source: Chauster AMA.

That's the case for every AD carry (except Urgot maybe). In a game where 3 angry mofos are zerg rushing you, Vayne is one of the best choices as she can constanly reposition herself while dealing the uber damages.

Yeah. They did the opposite when they wanted jungle Lee. Hotshot can't play him so Chauster would be put to jungle and Hotshot on support. Hotshot either is really stubborn or has the apm of a 5 year old and can't play Vlad/Lee no matter how hard he tries.
