The knock-up and health from that ult is already great, and the W to turn an enemy into a squirrel for a while is really nice later in the game too. I've been saying for years that Lulu is best pure support (Janna close second) and Taric is best tank support (followed by Ali/Leona). You get a 2 second freeze on the enemy team ADC and essentially a free randuin's. I know you are exaggerating for effect, but I must point it out.
Actually, I've been saying Taric #1 since 2010.
Lulu maybe for around 6 months though.

Lulu is great but she has trouble against the big sustain supports and kill lanes in my experience. If you can avoid picking her into soraka or leona etc she is great for later game, but it really sucks to play vs them.

Out of curiosity, anyone here use mechanical keyboard to play LoL? I am looking at this right now.... very tempting, but the blue switches are alarming because people are saying it's better for typing. I never owned a mechanical keyboard before so I don't know anything..... any input is welcome

whenever I tried to commentate games on/off stream just for fun, the biggest problems that I ran into was 1. not speaking fast enough (there is so much shit going on ALL the time) 2. exhaustion, idk why it's just really tiring to talk so much and 3. keeping total stomps seem enjoyable at least at some level. There are some other things like teamfights being total clusterfucks and it can be hard to see what's going on etc. but those 3 points above have been the most difficult part for me

Guys- are there any games that I can watch being played right now? Any scrims or showmatches?

I also like Lulu, but I can never get her to work in games where we aren't just outclassing the other bot lane. I still pref lulu in solo lanes compared to other "supports" and in most teamcomps. IDK why.

AFAIK Lulu is OK (after playing her extensively during her free weeks), but there is no reason to play her when you can play Sona. Also Lulu vs Soraka and Lulu vs Taric are absolutely brutal match ups.

Well, vs. sustain lane you generally just need to be a kill lane to win (or sustain better).
I'm not really a huge fan of Sona. She's a jack of all trades and master of none. She's the most aggressive support IMO, but one misstep and she's dead. Lulu can be pretty aggressive (her auto hits hard really early on) but get away with it b/c of her CC. Both are really versatile champs though.
Still, Sona feels like a more passive champ later on, which is at odds with what I said about her being the most aggressive, but all she does later is poke for negligible amounts of damage, heal, speed boost and land a AOE stun ulti. Lulu can do a lot more b/c of all that CC, or at least that's how I see it.

Sona's Ult has to be the best in the game though, or close to it.

I use an ABS M1, which has black switches, I love it. I got it for like 10$ on sale 0_0
blues are supposed to be much clickier and stiffer than blacks (blacks arent supposed to have a click at all, but they are still pretty loud when they bottom out, especially compared to membranes).

At the end of the day I decided on one with brown switches and numpad. It's 10 dollars more than the one I linked after a 10 dollars mail-in rebate (aka I will either never see the money back or I will get it back in 10 years), but oh well. I can afford it and I feel like playing with one now that this mechanical thingy is getting popular. I also type a lot so the brown switches are probably a nice balance between gaming and typing.
Now only if this thing has a "raise 200 Elo or money back" guarantee....

Comparable to Lulu's ult depending on how it is used. Lulu's ult is a bit more reliable though.

Sona is best support hands down! Her ult alone can win fights in the lategame. Her passive which allows you to deal terrible terrible dmg, slow or dmg reduction. Then you got for your team a dmg aura, armor aura and speed aura. You can heal, mini shurelias.
All these things in addition to big boobs. Everybody who does not think Sona is best support does not know anything about the world!

IMO you should buy a keyboard thats comfortable for you, I got a mechanical keyboard a year and a half ago and while it was nice, I don't feel like I spent my money well.

Breast support indeed.
EDIT: however, the Sona skins has her breast size reduced with each new skin, I feel.

I can argue that this is probably an impulse buy, but I like tech gadgets and I always get baited into buying these kind of stuff.

Shake playing ranked 3's with Bly and Chrispy on his own3d stream, sooo goood.
Anyway about lulu discussion: after playing all other supports but lulu for like 500 games, I randomly decided to buy her, and instantly felt in love with her. She has so much potential, but sadly its quite hard to play properly. Playing lulu vs soraka/sona is literally smacking a wall.

You know what, that sounds good. Anyone want to start a ranked 3s team?
