The only thing that will suck about her is people are still going to think she's OP becuase of the persistent stealth mechanic and so she will be permabanned/picked for the first month or so.
I can't wait until the hype dies down or people decide she's shit so I can play her again EHRMAGERD SO EXCITED

Guys, I've been having some serious lag issues since recently, I think it started happing about one patch ago (the one before jayce, not 100% sure as I was on a quite long holiday recently). Basically my ping will spike incredibly high making LoL pretty much unplayable (it happens in a pretty weird way, chat pretty much does not lag, but screen lags very weirdly, not completely stuck, but heroes unresponsive and moving through walls etc.). Anyway, I've pretty much confirmed its not my connection (I've already connected via my neighbours wifi and it gives the exact same problem) and I doubt it's my PC (as I did not change anything before the patch and I gave my PC a thorough clean-up after this started happening). Anyway, I've been browsing the riot forums, but theres so much random crap and flaming in between all of the threads complaining about server/lag/fps/ping issues that I havent been able to determine whether this is a general issue or just random complaining that probably always happens. Anyone heard anything about things like this happening recently/any possible fix?

First of all, her R will be changed to an AOE spell. Without her R, it's hard to justify building her as AD. If she wants to do damage now she has to be built AP. Frankly, her Q and E have good ratio already and I suspect her new R will be half decent at least.
From what I have read, her stealth detection is only slightly longer than Ryze's W (roughly 600 range). I think this means a lot of the skillshots lose their range advantage against Eve in mid. If Eve manage to come from an odd angle and juke a skillshot she will certainly win a trade. Not to mention her new MS steroid will allow her to chase like crazy in case she has the upper hand.
This is all but a guess without actual numbers, of course. I will definitely try to play her as AP mid though. AP mid = more money = more presence.

So I think I'm gonna buy kennen. Have mercy on my soul. I need a mid and it's either him or brand. Currently this is just theory but I think if I get the hang of kennen then I can dodge brand's stuff, and also counter any leblancs or kassadins with my lightning rush. I don't think he's very bursty, but I do think that he can do a lot of AoE damage. I'm choosing kennen because I think he can better deal with leblanc and kassadin.

I made an account named ALL KENNEN during free week, and learned him (its a couple GD threads ago). Now I don't play kennen anymore because it just isn't fun to go 20-5 every game.
He's a fun champion for sure, but i seemed to wear through him enjoyment-wise quickly.

He still has his ult, but apparently it'd be more useful by trying to set up poison interaction with W and E rather than for raw damage (expunge scales with bonus AD now). A post also stated they tweaked it so it's harder to dodge his shots.

Kennen is better suited top than mid, if only because he actually has a few losing matchups mid lane. He shits on pretty much every top laner.
Cassie is absolutely awesome, so I would suggest her for mid myself.
Or even pick Morg. If you ever wanted an easy laner, she is right up your alley.
