About Auras, do active auras give it? Locket and Shurelya's are actives that you need to be close enough to give, makes sense that they should give assists. | ||

Perfect. That's what I guessed, and I zoned him and was up 30 CS and a kill on him. ...until the 4 man queue I ended up with decided to quickly surrender right at 20 minutes. (Probably belongs in the QQ thread now.) I'll keep Riven, Jax, and Irelia in mind, but I don't own them yet. | ||

likewise, janna's shield will grant an assist if it blocks damage delivered by the dying target before it dies (i.e. your ashe is killing caitlyn, janna shields ashe while ashe's ignite ticks down on caitlyn, ashe does no more physical damage to caitlyn, caitlyn shoots ashe before she dies, the damage is blocked by janna's shield, janna gets assist) | ||

I think you get assists if you do any damage, hit the target with any ability, or cast any ability on someone who does damage. Edit: assuming the target dies and you do this within the time allowed to get credit, of course. | ||

But if you do play Top a lot, it's probably pretty important for you to learn Vlad vs Kennen, both sides. The matchup is highly dependent on the players. If you want tanky initiate that can dive and catch people you might as well play cow. It's hard to find a champion that's underplayed but good, but it's easy to find a good champion who got nerfed to oblivion. | ||

Ken ults and vlad pools. Vlad has better lifesteal and doesn't rely on skillshot, point and click. | ||

Works with Anivia wall too but only if you actually hit the target with it (if it gets in their way, it doesn't count) | ||

The outcome falls primarily on the skill and experience of the two players rather than on the advantages of one champ over the other. The comment I highlighted essentially serves to express Stanley's confidence in winning a "fair" matchup against anyone. | ||
