So I was wondering, how do you make a comeback? My friends and I can only seem to make a comeback when the other team makes a HUGE mistake. I think I've read that playing safe isn't the right way to do it because that just 'safely puts you behind', while when you play riskier it's more of a 'win big or lose hard'. Is this true?

"If you're ahead, you should play safe and cautiously exploit the advantage you already have. If you're behind, you should make (calculated, not reckless) risky plays, because you're not going to get more ahead if you both play safely."

Basically, it's the other team's game to lose.

well in general, like when your inhib is down, your lanes are going to get pushed which denies your opponents gold and exp and lets your team farm huge waves and slowly catch up. so long as there isn't a major objective up, you can basically just turtle and slowly get back into the game by farming while they dont. it's really situational tbh. sometimes it's best to 5-man roam and try to pick them off and then do objectives or push from there. sometimes it's not. depending on how much map vision you have and what objectives are up, you should try to calculate how aggressively you can take action and claw your way back by being more coordinated.

it's hard to make a generalized statement, because there are many "degrees" of how behind you can be.

Depends on team comp. If you have a better late game team comp, just defend and farm as much as you can. No need to make risky plays if you think you can win a team fight even when down on gold later in the game.

I have heard "shooting shit" or "shoot the shit." Maybe it is a Western Canadian thing. It was more common in the Okanagan than here in Vancouver.

So I just got back from southern california.

It turns out the english language has some fairly bad failings. IE: "The weather is really nice and everything is pretty" doesnt really do (certain parts) of LA justice.

I've thought about this for a while...

I think that Xenics banned Irelia because HSGG doesn't play anything else with a gap closer. After she wasn't available they could just go all-ranged as SV prefers playing junglers like Mundo and Udyr that don't have gap closers either.

Doublelift needed to pick Ashe I guess but perhaps Xenics knew that he's not as good with her and probably wouldn't?

Yeah. I was being witty since it was me using an incorrect phrase while calling out someone on a dumb phrase but I realized it might have been too subtle, lol.
