Yep he should have just came, ran in, and ganked instead of waiting around for the perfect opportunity for ages. There really were multiple opportunities to gank even in the lanes he actually went to if he just kept walking instead of sitting around waiting for the eclipse of the moon
There was no position where he could have even landed a headbutt without taking tower shots. Showing your postion for nothing is not a good idea. There were no oppurtunies to gank when alistar WAS there because there was enough wards for CLG to smell when he was around camping.

XD's team had a ton of cc, but no real damage to follow it up with. If only that kennen decided to build ap.

There were, most obvious was the one at the bottom lane when he got spotted by galio.

Absolutely not. I've laned against AP kennens and have been able to just walk up to them and rape them once we're level 7 and his autos are irrelevant, (with irelia say) AD kennens I just sit in a corner and cry. There's a REASON people do these builds.

Wouldn't he have won the lane equally as hard as AP? Did autoattack damage contribute so much to the early domination - he was pushing down to tower even when all he has was wriggles.

You can trade. AP kennen has no sustain till he builds revolver.

Well, you axe em and smack em, not sure if it works with olaf. In any case, you won't be able to harass an olaf out of lane like 5+ times with an AP kennen. AP kennen sustains less, pokes less, kills towers slower, does less DPS, I haven't had trouble aganist an AP kennen in a long time. (axe much shorter cd than lightning rush)

Kennen with no items did fine and got Wriggles on his first B, he could have easily built a revolver for the same price.
