There is a decently sized community of good and high ELO players on TeamLiquid and an even larger community of new, bad, and low ELO players here. This project is designed so that some of the more manner high level players can show newbies the ropes and make sure that peoples integration into LiquidParty is easy, fun, and educational.
The role of a high level player can be that of one who looks down on other players, belittles his lesser skilled peers, and make the game a terrible experience for those who don't take it as seriously as he does. It doesn't have to be that way. The high level player can make the game a learning experience for a newer and less skilled player rather than a frustrating and depressing one. A great community has good players willing to help out others and pass on their knowledge.
Here's to hoping some high level players of the latter breed are here on TL. So I think we should start a coaching/adopt a newbie program (similar to a program Smogon, the biggestcompetitive pokemon community has) where high level players register champions/concepts they are willing to teach and can get in touch with newbies that are interested in learning. I'll certainly be signing up for some help (even though I'm level 30 teehee).
So as far as your requirements for registering as a coach, you must be level 30. I'm not too sure about ELO but I guess a ranked ELO of 1400 or more would be good? If that's too high then 1350 perhaps.
If you're a high level/experienced player and want to help others play register here with what champions you can teach. Also note if you are willing to just teach basic game concepts. Also register if you are a baddie and note what champions/concepts you would like improvement with. Doesn't matter what your level is, but if you are Level 30 please be bad. Higher priority will obviously go to low level players.
Lets help the baddies become goodies instead of raging at them all the time :3

I'm summoner level 17. I have a pretty good basic understanding of the game. I know how to gank pretty well, I'm fairly decent at laning and zoning, etc. I guess one thing I lack sometimes is intuition. One thing I don't really know is what the other team is planning sometimes, and I almost never stray from build orders I use on my champs, no matter how the game is playing out and what the enemy champs are.
I guess what I would like to be helped with is the deeper intricacies of the game.
My 4 favorite champs are: LeBlanc, Kassadin, Amumu, Singed
Currently level 25 but while I think I have a good grasp of the game I would like to learn some finer points. I want to learn specifically about junglers and carries. Currently I am comfortable with Ashe, Pantheon, Warwick and Annie.
Want to learn: Ashe, Master Yi, Warwick, Kog`Maw, and Twitch. Also Junglers/jungling in general.
Want to learn: Tristana but only from the best Tristana player of all-time..........Atlanta. I'll settle for ZeroBoom too. If not then maybe 5HITCOMBO will do.
Will teach: Range DPS/ Janna/ Sona/ Teemo/ Pantheon?
Lv 24 Summoner. Decided that Im gunna get proficient with a Jungler, Melee DPS of some sort, and Tank. For the current tasks, I have chosen WW, Trynd, and Rammus, as I find all 3 enjoyable.
Assistance with learning the fundamentals, how to not be erratic in wins or losses (going 24/2/11 one game and 0/12/4 or some shit the next) and overall well rounded knowledge with all 3 types welcome.
I can potentially teach a whole slew of characters including most junglers (amumu, warwick, udyr, xin, rammus, akali... pretty much w/e other than Olaf, I suck with Olaf, LOL), pantheon, kennen, garen, annie, and kayle, but I'm not sure how often I'll feel motivated to teach. I'd be up to give it a shot though. I could also teach the basics of jungling and solo laning.
I'm 1600 something solo queue now, top is 1671 I think.
1520 elo I can teach the following: Casters: Annie, LeBlanc, Sona, Vladimir Tanks: Shen, Galio, Olaf DPS: Xin, Shaco, Warwick, Evelynn (primarily jungle for the last three)
For the sake of the sub forum ill make it more serious I already commonly get adds from people in LiquidParty for advice on champs so if you got questions feel free to add.
IGN: SpudBoy Can teach: I feel I've got enough background in LoL at this point that I could help a lower level with a majority of the champions but my most played in ranked are listed below. I'd actually prefer to help level 30's since lower levels usually their biggest concern is just learning from playing the game. Olaf, Warwick, Pirate, Udyr, Twitch, Singed, Vlad, Trist, Shaco, Tryndamere
TheYango, level 28 Want to learn: Casters - Basically all. Love playing casters. Tanks - Amumu, Galio Support - Taric, Janna Carries - Ashe, Trist (I'm awful with carries in general, just figured I'd start with the two that I actually own cuz they're cheap/free)
Honestly, I'm willing to help out, particularly when I'm less inundated with work (next semester), but I don't know how you'd go about doing it. I'm very much a two-face when it comes to things, as I'll generally be laid-back, but every now and then I'll rage and/or get frustrated, then once the game ends I'm back to being laid-back again, so I'm not sure that's the sort of attitude that can help out in an actual in-game atmosphere... although there're exceptions (I surprisingly didn't get annoyed at all losing with Jougonaut's team while watching them to offer tips - instead I was laughing my ass off on Skype).
I can offer general tips, I can offer a relatively extensive amount of advice on ranged spellcasters (I'm notoriously terrible on melee casters like Sion, and inconsistent on stuff like Taric), but a lot of what I'd help out with would ideally be consolidated in my spellcaster thread. So if you want to add me or not is up to the OP
Edit: Also lol @ nyxnyxnyx being on the baddies list. Liar.

I can teach a wide variety of game strategies and mechanics. I would be most effective if people want to learn Pantheon, Morgana, Malzahar, Nasus, Veigar, Gangplank, or Tryndamere, however I can teach a wide variety of champions if needed. My team won WCG (CLG, I didn't play because of school, but I played in all of the preliminary rounds over the summer), and I'm about 1990 solo ranked.

Baddie reporting: Name: A Feeding Noob (AFN) Summoner level: 21 (could be 22 in a while)
Wants to learn: How to play Tristana better How to play Sona (Thinking about buying her) How to play Kassadin How to play an effective Garen at Higher ELO (when playing TL pre-made/inhouse) How to jungle properly (and figure out how Udyr works) How to stop feeding when playing in TL inhouse
Really, really wants to try Pull off a game going Brave (any champion) Not go 0/10 while playing Kassadin
P.S. I really want to learn to play Kassadin because I'm a huge fan of any good TL.net players (Southlight/Uta, 5HC, nyx, etc.) I just want to get good enought that I won't feed when I play in TL inhouse/pre-mades.
I'd be more then willing to teach. I have almost 500 wins, currently lose one in ten games with a small premade of 3 - 4 and can teach literally everything. From warding, item build, group compositions, when to baron, how to support, tank, melee or ranged dps and nuke.

ID: 5HITCOMBO The #1 Jungler will show you how to become the #2 Jungler. Also, learn anything about Cho that you've ever wanted to know.
I also teach: Trist, Garen, any jungler ever (Jungle Trist #1), fundamentals, game sense, common builds, #1 wraith jack, advanced bush-checking, feeding on stream...
Most interested in: Tyler's Poppy, LoCicero's Nasus, Tryndamere, Morg Secondary Interests: Whatever Neoillusions, MogWai, SpudBoy teaches, and whatever locodoco can teach if he can ever manage to post in this thread. Pity such a top top player is permabanned. I would liken him to Idra and his frequent bannings, but not permabans.
Suggestion: Wouldn't it be nice to know on what Server the baddies and/or teachers are? i could cross check with the summoner name list, but i'm too lazy :D
Want to Learn: I am a Brave Taric/Pantheon/Akali, looking to expand my horizons into jungling. Specifically Shaco and Eve. I would also like to try some 'lesser known' junglers.. basically any character that shouldn't be there.

Looking for help with lablanc mainly for item knowledge and strategies. I want to learn to think out of the "recommended" items Also Jungling, when to do it, and benefits
About 1500 ELO right now with a max around 1600. US client. Can teach Nasus. I'm good with other champs but don't want to teach those until I have as intimate and understanding with them as I do with Nasus.

Message me, and Ill chat with you, if you wanna jungle a Char I dont know I am gonna try that char out real quick - if I have it. Remember I wouldnt say my play is good in other means than jungling - and it ends there.
- and that plenty would do better than me, 5hit fx.
RUGEATER THE LEMURTASTIC (US client) can teach you to feed like the best and still win games More practically he can explain Mundo, melee-dps-theory, simple laning, WARDING, Zilean, Karthus, Morgana, Olaf, Mordekaiser, and talking in the third person.

lol, pretty accurate. Aumz starts with like 400 HP on one of the worst early game laners in in LoL. It blows my mind.
wow, alot of people wanting to learn trist :D.... i guess i could do trist teaching since my specialist is DPS carrier or nuker ganking. basic DotA skills such as laning, roading(almost non-exist in lol), watching mini map and stuff but to be honest... those you need to play a lot to learn so learner need to be patient.
also i didnt play LoL often but i do a good job when i play. If you wana testout my skill, feel free to do so xD
edit: DPS: trist, yi, ashe, teemo, blah blah (noticed these are not jungler) casters: annie, morg, vlad,... ANYTHING but veigar and karth

Aumz taught me Veigar and I own with him now!
no srsly tho, veigar is kinda a source of trauma for me, i picked him up for awhile and was doing okish, then all of the sudden i have a game where i go 0-18. it was rather jarring, since i dont necessarily always do well, but i rarely straight up feed like that. Compound that with another game shortly afterwards where i play ezreal (a hero i'm quite comfortable with) and get my ass torn a new one by an enemy veigar and i go 1-12, veigar has become sort of a problem.
Baddie here managed somehow to lvl 20 but i'm really pretty bad. Champions i want to learn: nidalee, vladimir Things i want to learn: early game agression (i'm waaaay too passive), being awesome in general, being brave. in game name: Oijdiouc Hehenfo
Sign me up as a teacher. I can teach about jungling in general, tanking & initiating, and specifically the champions Rammus, Amumu, and Alistar (doubt anyone's interested in Alistar since he's so bad, but throwing it out there anyway). Look for Jielhar on the LiquidParty channel.
Edit: Rank 1383, but that's probably 'cause I play very few ranked games (7 wins 1 loss so far), mostly play Normal games.
Oooo why not, I want some people to play with. Ba. b... baddie..
I be lvl 30 yo.
I wanna learn.. Evelynn, Alistar, Blitz, and a lot of low tier characters.. yes, I like the baddies. But I really like Alistar and blitz cuz they... are obnoxious and super funny. Yes yes, let's play.

I'd be happy to show you some Alistar tricks, but you didn't include your summoner name here, nor is it listed in the Summoner names list thread.
I'd like to learn how to be indispensable to me team. Basically, learning more about effective team compositions, learning how to tank, learning how to jungle, etc. Basically I'd like to be able to get into champion select, analyze our strengths / weaknesses and pick a champion accordingly, and then proceed to be the lynchpin that leads our team to victory.
ID: Drathmar (lvl 16) Want to Learn (in order of most to least): Garen, Taric, Jungle Warwrick, Sona, Yi, Ashe, Annie, Ryze, Nasus
Always on, always in LP, I am a former DotA player so im pretty decent with last hitting and such, I know my biggest problem is impatience but im working on that.
ID: Bellucian(28) Want to Learn: Jungle Akali, Jungle Olaf, Kennen, I have most of the basics of jungling down just needed some help with these characters in particular.
Teacher REPORTING 1610 ELO (in solo) IGN: ShiroiShi
I can teach or give suggestions on the basics of almost everything (in general terms), however my specialty lies with teaching about the champions that I main such as Udyr, Pantheon, Shen, and soon to be Shaco and Gankplank. However I mostly play champions that my team needs me to play and so even though I mean those few champs I have a wide range of knowledge on most champs but that also affects my overall knowledge on my mains as I solely don't play them.
isclaimer... I don't expect my advice to be of the best or something that must be followed. I mean no one thought me how to play. I just played games until I got the hang of it, so all my suggestions come from experience and the things that I found out while playing but I'm sure there are a slew of better players with much more experience and can give you even better suggestions or advice than I ever could. I am still learning myself.
If LoL University wants to actually to become of some sort of use besides people flaunting e-peen and students looking around, let's make more informative posts, yes?
Teachers: best way I can think of doing this is for you to list 3-5 champions that you are highly proficient with. Not that you know how to play that champion but you've played easily 100+ games with that champion, you know the in's and out's, and more importantly, a variety of builds. LoL University should not be yielding one trick ponies as a result.
Students: For you, it's much easier, since you have an idea (or you should...) of what you want to improve on. Most obvious is a champion you have found a liking to but don't feel like you're playing that champion at its best. But it isn't limited to just champions. Map Awareness is huge. Playing with someone on vent is a great way to get on his level (hurr hurr). But it does help if someone else more competent is pointing out in real time of certain things you should be aware of.
Once we have a better composition of Teachers vs Students, be pro-active. Go find that Teacher that can help you. Go find that TL Student that you think is a great poster so you think he'll make good use of your invested time, etc.
If a Teacher/Student pairing is made, please make note of it in this thread. DocH, update the pairing in the OP please. It'll make things easy to see how the University is progressing.
TL:DR: Teacher, put 3 champions you can teach. Students, put 3 champions you want to learn. Go pair yourselves up. DocH, update the OP.
And uh, with my previous post made, I retract my offer as a teacher for LoL Uni. I'm not going to be on much over the next 2 weeks, so it's pointless to offer if I can't even come online.
But I'm open to any LoL related PMs if advice is needed.
I want to learn map awareness & better laning/last hitting (hard thing to teach, really.) - now that I'm 20+ I find I end up dying to jungle ganks, and I play really inconsistently, so I let teams down whenever I play bad.
I also want to spread out my champion play - I think i'm reasonable at Sona (but not great, and I still fall into trainwreck games where I end up 0-8 or similar which I blame mostly on poor fundamentals), I want to get better at Morgana, Tristana, and something that can do jungling (uncreative warwick is acceptable, or amumu/olaf/whatever)
Baddie student person here Summoner name is Jokey665, level 30.
Want to learn: Uhh mostly better play in general. My "best" champs right now are probably Sona/Lux/Zilean so that's a good place to start. I mostly play casters but also dabble in ranged carries, specifically Ashe, Trist, and Kog. I'm very inconsistent with those champs, though; one game I'll go 15-3-x then the next I'll go 0-8-x.
Overall I think my weakest point is early-mid game/laning in general with every champ that isn't Sona.
We should really move on this, make a good system, and maybe even sticky it. Where is the activity, we need to improve as a community not only in size but in player ability as well.
Summoner Name: Drathmar Want to Learn: Melee DPS (Jax) and Support (Taric/Sona)
Im always in LP when im on, feel free to ask for me on there, send me a message, or w/e. I'm also looking to learn a bit on how to farm better mid game (I tend to always be tryign ot help the team and fall behind because of it) as well as other basic gameplay tips.
i can actually go under both baddie and teacher, as a teacher, i can teach urgot....
as a baddie, i'd like to learn support champs, kus, i cannot play them for my life, i am halfway decent at all the other roles, but support just eludes me.
edit: i think this system wont come into full bloom until spectator mode and replays come out, but its a great start
Baddie reporting in. A lowly level 10 at that. Summoner Name: KennyKarp Want to Learn: Basics, as well as playing as Lux, Leblanc, and Taric.
Other stuff: I've played about 100 games of dota so I kinda know what I'm doing, but I'm not like, good, or anything. I'd love to just learn general stuff so that I can adapt to different situations instead of just learning one build.
While I don't think I'm low enough level to be listed in the "baddie" section, I am interested in learning junglers and carries so I can improve my play. Currently I play neither very well. Looking at the teacher's list, I friended a couple of people who I thought might be able to help me with even the smallest thing such as giving me some tips. I am level 30 and my ID is Oxii.
I'm not asking to be listed under the baddie list (because according to the rules I could be a teacher as well rofl), just wanted to give the people I friended a little head's up as to why I sent the invite. If anyone reads this who plays junglers or carries well, feel free to friend me.
Top champs interested in learning (random order): Any jungler (Specifically Warwick, Rammus, Yi or Shen) MF Panth Twitch
So i just hit level 21 and would like some helping out. I basically exclusively play with friends, communicating via skype, and while i'm usually the one scholding them for doing stupid shit, i tend to make some stupid mistakes too, especially when my early-game has been a bit bumpy. When i do play solo, i usually perform much worse, partly because i just can't be bothered to communicate with my teammates.
anyways: ID: Awesomguy Interested in: General insight, mindset in early-midgame. Champs: Soraka, Ezreal, Nasus, Kassadin, Singed, i feel like i'm decent with both nasus and kass, my soraka and ez need work, and i kind of stopped playing singed.

The best way to play soraka is to not play her... sona/taric does everything she does as well or better. I honestly don't know why soraka is in the game right now...
Is there anyone here on EU servers teaching? Cant switch because I'd never accept playing with the delay US servers gives me. I am currently summoner level 28, dont know if im qualified :S Anyways, I play around 8 hours/day atm.
I mainly play junglers and would like to learn more in-depth jungling. My favorite jungle champion is rammus, but I would like to learn more about jungling with any champion.

My LoL ID is Jielhar, and I know a fair deal about jungle Rammus.
Baddie: Hadila Level: 30 Ranked elo: 1332, top Rating 1497. Wants to learn: How to be better and more efficient at playing my main characters. I try to be good at at least one champ in every role. I usually play on of these three:
[AP Sion, Support Janna, Jungle Warwick]
Details: I find playing LoL fun but i always play alone since my friends play other games like WoW . Looking for some one to climb ranked with as DuoQ, preferably with voice communication:D! I'm a serious player, i don't like raging or listening to people who rage allot. The only champion role i do not practice and avoid is the hard carry. Not my thing. Most of my losses I still maintain a good score and a positive KDA. Check my summoner profile for reference.

Been looking for you online for the past few days. Are you even in the LiquidParty channel?
My LoL ID is Jielhar, and I know a fair deal about jungle Rammus.
I've been really busy with work. Will be on a good amount in the coming week, though. I'll add you.

i think we can assume learn. (no offense <3).
also for all the people asking if this still exists, just going into LiquidParty and asking one of the better players a question or to play a game with/against you can really work wonders. They are really nice about it in my experience!

I'd like to learn how to properly play a ranged carry. I've been practicing last hitting a fair amount and have gone from completely horrible to passable, but I'm having trouble converting a farm advantage into game presence. My "successful" games end with scores like 2/1/17 or 4/2/15. I'm not bothered by other people getting the kills save that I think it belies a lack of damage contribution on my part.
For reference, the AD carries I've primarily been practicing with are Ashe and Caitlyn.
Played DotA so I have decent experience as far as stuff like that goes. I would like to be able to play Warwick, Kass, Kog'Maw. I've been playing Cho and doing pretty well as long as there aren't noob/newb feeders, I also just started playing, and thanks to DotA understand map awareness and last hitting, kinda miss denying though.

ID rackdude Level: 30 Was 1300+ now below 1200, kind of fluctuating.
Never played DOTA, but a lot of Starcraft. I'm Diamond and top of 2v2 (haven't played many 1v1s in the ladder) so that says I'm somewhat competent. So I have the mechanics of watching the minimap and microing, those kinds of things. I want to "learn the game" though. Those where to place wards, why am I in the wrong position, those midgame kinds of deals. Many games I can own in the lane pretty easily so I don't feel like I need much coaching there (though it would be nice to have), but it's the midgame and those bigger ideas like warding now, where to farm, etc. that I want to get down. Really, I would love to have someone in game to yell at me and tell me why I'm doing something wrong and explain what's bad about it and what I should be doing. I'd just love to learn . Hit me up please! I'll be your baddie!
I only teach for 5 pizza rolls/hr. Express mail is necessary for this transaction. I been with the game since late beta so I'm pretty comfortable with a majority of the champions. I'll only help lvl 30's purely because pre lvl 30 most of what you need to learn is experience based and there is nothing i can do about that. Alias is SpudBoy on US.
Just hit me up in LiquidParty sometime and I will most likely be able to play a game with you/give advice. I play many ranged carries, Anivia, Janna, Alistar, and am decent with everything but jungling. I am 1500+ elo in all ladders.
I can also give tips on team play/strategy. I have only recently started playing ranked 5's but am already 1650+ and recently won a game at the helm of my team against Atlanta and multiple 1800+ players, with the rating of most of my team members around 1500. Honestly, Atlanta was pretty bad, I don't know how he got to 2000+.

Summoner name: Vlanitak Lvl: 24 Runes I have: mp5, arpen and mpen and some ap/lvl what I want to learn: Playing a ranged carry properly, if possible: tristana, sivir, miss fortune or tf (AD tf and/or AP tf) but also anyone else falling in this category. More junglers: had the opportunity to try Tryndamere, but I want to learn more: refresh on my olaf, how to proper Yi, Trundle jungle, udyr jungle, Xin if possible. other champs I want to learn: taric, irelia, galio, shen, Xin Zhao.
other stuff: how/where/when to place wards. Someone to asses where they think I currently am in skill level, and how I can improve my general game sense (obvious mistakes I make). And what EzPz once refered to as common sense.
Hi Vlanitak im @ work now, im ranked 1701 elo i also have a lvl 23 smurf. I'll smurf with you and assess your level and give you tips when i get home from work. Idle in the channel LiquidParty on the LoL client
The pro Kog laning ult is get in W range, ult behind them then W auto (credit to Chrispy for tip); they either take the ult hit or you get auto attacks off with your steroid up. Build super standard AD carry (IE/(recurve or zeal)/LW), I like it better than Madred's. Never get more than 2 stacks on your ult unless you're chasing with it.
I could help some people out, don't know if I am pro enough to be on teacher list (something like 1650 right now, don't play ranked too much anymore, used to play normals with all the top guys, used to be part of some good beta premades with guys like VoxDissident, etc...)
In any case, if anybody wants help with most ranged carries (particularly Ashe, MF, Ezreal), Nidalee, Shaco, Xin Zhao, TF, Malzahar, or to a lesser degree anything else (msg me and I will tell you if I have any advice ) feel free to ask. Nidalee is far and away my best character.
Okay so I am at level 12ish, but I play with my level 21-22 friends ONLY as Ashe and I do as well as them. I also play with my level 30 friends and I can sort of keep up, but not like a 7 and 3 score. I also play Vlad, but not as well as Ashe. If anyone would like to tutor me on Vlad OR a super pro showing me advanced Ashe techniques, I would LOVE it my in game name is ZergHydralisk but like my user name is HydraliskKill lol I'm not sure which one is needed.
I'm currently level 24, been stomping pub games using Kat/Zil, but would like to learn how to play in the competitive scene. I would like to learn how to use a diverse handful of heroes for draft mode. I could also use help with concepts, tactics, strategies, and also how to counter each champion. I'm starting to use Malphite and can't find any resources, so if you are good with Malphite, I NEED HALP!
ID:Minions Away Level:22 Eu Server Would like to learn: Being a better player in general(map awareness/team communication), playing a variety of champions, always prefered melee chars in games and i'm enjoying Nasus at the moment and most important of all to stop facechecking the brushes! >.<
First thing in order is an introduction I believe, my summoner name is RemedialHappyMan, the name has a short story for another time. I have actively tried to improve my ability to play, starting first by just playing a lot, (around 2000 normal games now) building a solid foundation for play. I think my strongest point is laning and I have been keeping a record of last hits ect to keep goals on making progress. I play tons of champions and have tried to at least be decent with a majority of them. Currently with the people I play with I do the best in nearly every game rarely losing my lane, and I feel like I am stagnating in a 1300-1500 elo range and am not getting any better. I know I'm not good because my experience starts to fail on map control and pushing, I just want the chance to play with people that are better than me so they can yell at me and tell me what I am doing wrong.
Anyway If anyone is willing I have vent/skype and will set aside time to learn, even if they just want a buddy to play with, you don't have to lecture me since I watch what my teammates do and try to learn.
Any solid 1700-1800 player wanna take me under their wing and help me unlock the secret of consistantly win ranked games? 1400 atm, peaked at 1591
Senx - EU
I can play most non-niche champs in the game at a decent lvl.. I really just want to be told wtf im doing wrong at times, because I cant figure it out.
LoL in game: Spikard level 30 full t3 runepages ~310W/300L normal ~80W/90L ranked ~200 games played on my smurf account (lvl21) hovering around 1100 elo
Generally I think I play a bit too risky and/or with wrong expectations of what my teammates will do. I watch a lot of high level streams, regi jiji hotshot loco, etc. I've improved a lot since emulating some of their play, but I keep expecting my teammates in game to act like the teams I see on streams... Bad idea :D
But mainly I need help pinpointing more specific areas that I need help. I think I'm doing ok but I'm obviously blind to my own faults, I need someone high elo to watch me play and go "ok THAT was just wrong, here's the right way," in a more detailed manner than simply 'carry harder' or 'last hit better'
Maybe the OP could be updated or a mod enable updating again. Is this only for US or also for EU? I could use a coach for Amumu and Nunu, jungling if possible.
Do level 30s hovering around 1200 ELO count as baddies? If so I could use some tips. Working on my carries (Ashe, particularly.), and my supports, (Janna, Soraka, and I really need help with Zilean.) ID: rmvp US server.
Level 30, would like some insight on warding. I find myself playing roaming/jungling characters a lot, and it seems like I end up just throwing wards down at random. I know what the usual warding spots are, but figuring out what spots are important based on game flow and team comps seems to escape me.
Would like to learn every champ and role or roles said champions should play in each mu/team composition.
Currently need improvement my farming and laning. When to gank. What to buy when and why. What to sell when and why. Which skills to level and what order to level said skill. When to use skills to farm. What to look for on minimap. When to push, and when to let them push out. When to dive towers and when to blue pill. When to attempt a back door, and which champions to back door with. Wards, when to buy when to drop where. Team fighting, with who to initiate and who to wait for an initiator. Who to focus. Who not to focus. Ganking, how to bait opponents into ganks how to prevent being baited. How to avoid being gank, when to gank as the jungler.
Would like to learn a variety of roles (especially jungling). I play these champs:
Renekton, Vayne (Not a lot), Jungle Amumu, Jungle Nocturne, Jarvan IV, Garen, Janna, Nidalee, Vlad, Maokai (Not a lot), Jungle Fiddlesticks, Just starting Anivia, Tristana
I especially need help on my solo mid chars, as I seem to always get beaten when I play one (Nidalee, Vlad, Anivia), even if I win in CS, I just don't know when to gank, etc. Any help would be appreciated.
Step #1 of this should be that anyone interested in improving should add Liquidparty to their autojoin channels. At any time you can ask a question, or specific advice, or anything really and usually expect a helpful response.
For nova, and anyone else interested: I'm merely 1600 elo solo queue, but I have a great deal of experience in verbally leading teammates to victory. If you think I could be of help, feel free to add me IGN:Blazeraid
I have a ton of experience verbally leading my teammates to victory as well! Feel free to ask me anything ^-^ I'll also help with jungleroutes and sololaning.
Another "baddie" reporting in! mesred -> realm EU I'd be great if someone experienced in playing AP would adopt me I mainly play vlad right now, however I could really use some help on how to manage mana depend APs such as Karthus and Malzahar. Additionally, I find Vayne unresistably sexy but always screw it when I play her :-) So, all u Vayne pros out there PLZ HEEEEEEELP
Whnomad on the NA server I would like to learn pretty much anything in the game I really don't know what I want to do I like pokeing in a lot with anne right now with ignite and fireballing to push out of the lane and get the advantage but I'm really confused on how to last hit better and builds constantly confuse me and hurt me.
I really like the concept and the workings of nukes. I think I can get better easier with anne but sion was a lot of fun and I would like to go back to him at some point. Any nuke teachers?
I have serial commitment issues and tend to get bored really fast, but if anyone looking for help wants to upload a replay or something I can try to look through a couple and point some stuff out.
I'm notoriously bad at pointing things out/giving advice during games no matter how relaxed because competitive spirit takes over and I tend to be looking at/thinking about a dozen things at once and end up giving terse, sharp remarks instead of being helpful :x

Hey guys, I`m relatively new to the game. I played around 6months or more ago, and just started to play again. Im currently Level 20 and I find it hard to get better playing solo normal games... I play with some friends when they are online but I usually just solo queue.
Currently im playing with Anivia, Annie, Amumu, Rammus, Janna and Nunu the most. Im trying to get used to most of the different roles.
If anybody would be interested to teach me sligtly more advanced concepts and how to play those roles I would be really grateful!

The biggest reason i find is people dont know how to cs properly. You should have about 75 cs in 10 mins and 150 cs in 20 mins. Thats the biggest factor that seperates elos

they help but with new jungle you can I've done it on a lvl 1 just to test, might require a few more backs than at 30 but still do able and having a jungle in a normal game against a team that doesn't is a huge advantage
I am level 13, with a reasonable history in RTSes wanting to get better at this game! My main problems are in huge team fights not being able to get my skills off:
I currently like to play: Riven, Singed, Veigar
I want to learn: Teemo, Cho-gath, and any other character really. I would like to be good at this game
Hopefully a good player will look at this post since this threat is pretty old and inactive D:

I sent you a request. Best thing for lower level for jungling is stick to the RIOT classified jungle champs (Warwick, Fiddle, Nunu ect.)
Fiddle would def be your best bet I started off with him and he was my main forever, until he got very boring... and fear is OP!
If anyone else would like some help I'm no pro but I will help with anyone who wants to learn Fiddle, Kennen, Anivia, Brand, Fiddle, Kassapwn, Xerath, Fiddle, Trundle, Corki, Caitlyn and did I mention Fiddlesticks? XD
Oh, I wouldn't start with Fiddle. He plays quite differently from most of the junglers. Something like Skarner or Udyr are probably the best bets as they clear very quickly/easily and have good margins of error. You can also buy your runes at 20, don't need to wait for 21.
Anyway, I can teach the following junglers (ranked caliber): Amumu, Rammus, Skarner, Udyr

If Alokin isn't on, I can help you any time.
@Craton With the new jungle, almost everyone can jungle now. Efficiency is a different matter. I've seen some level 15 Fiddles when I smurf with my friend (so I don't make him play against level 30's) that do pretty well.
On December 17 2011 11:53 Craton wrote: Oh, I wouldn't start with Fiddle. He plays quite differently from most of the junglers. This is true, you definitely won't get the mechanics of jungling down. BUT, a jungle fiddle in low levels is surely to carry games. Crowstorm from any bush in any lane. Only saying this cause chances are wards aren't used often!
If you want to start before someone can help too, you could play a slow but safe jungle w/ WW to get a feel for it. The main things are to keep track of spawns (50sec wraiths, 1min other smalls, 5buffs, 6drag, 7baron) and try to plan your ganks around those times. Then when someone helps you, they can focus more on stuff like warding, counterjungling and optimizing.
ive played with alot of the TL ppl who are 1500-1700 and not done terribly so im confidence im higher than 1000 elo. if theres any1 who wants to help me duo rank that would be awesome.

I can teach general game play mentalities and general game knowledge I guess. Also I can teach mid and solo top roles pretty well and introduction to supports.

Morgana Irelia Janna

Also put me down for baddie as well since I really need to learn how to jungle.

it gives minimum elo which is silver, i dont think solver players hsould be teaching anybody their bad habits
I guess I can teach some stuff, even tho my Elo mustn't be high (says 1400 or so, but only because I'm currently 5-0 in ranked placement). Also most people here seem to be from US so since I play on EU I guess that might help "supplies".
I can teach: Swain, Morgana (but not nearly as good as others here), Irelia, Galio (mid or top), jungle with Maokai (I've got some experience with Trundle too but I wouldn't recommend him now unless you want to specifically play him), and some basic stuff about warding, timing buffs and such.
Hey guys! I dunno if this thread is still living, I'd like to learn how to jungle, I'm 1200 elo and I have no clue about jungling, I'm from EU, id : Lylat89
well I'm level 30 on NA, but I'm pretty terrible. I would love to learn pretty much any role (especially jungling) a better player is willing to teach me but since I've got 450ms on NA and 390 on EUNE it'll probably be frustrating for them (I live all the way across the globe and use a wireless broadband). Maybe nyxnyxnyx can teach me on the sea server

anyways chill i added you i will teach you the fine secrets of jungling and you can stomp your way to level 30, no charge SG guitarasaurus
What fine secrets are those? Play Skarner, win?
in a nutshell, yes but there are little things you can pick up like when to counterjungle, what camps to take, who to ult and whatnot that can be gamebreaking
I really dont know how good i am, but most of my friends are better than me so....
Wants to learn: Karthus(I'm pretty good with him, but its alot harder to play him due to the wall nerf) Leblanc(I'm pretty good at getting fed, but i dont know how to "carry") Katarina(so-so with her) Jungle Yi( I fail at ganking) Miss Fortune(play her a bit)
I've played all throught the beta, then played a year of SC2, and so far in a few weeks of playing I have reached lvl20 :D
I want to improve my Nidalee to like hotshottGG level and also as a side mission I want to learn about good team comps, good item builds, and also how to play Akali and Corki( I have UFO corki from the beta just sitting there gathering rust ), and other than that I think my 1 year's worth of dota will cover :D.

i feel kinda left out in this thread tho t.t, all i can really teach is support, and no1 really wants to learn that, :[
You'd be surprised how many people need to learn how to.
i'm actually very familiar with how many ppl need it, but needing it and wanting it are 2 very different things.
i kinda came into it on accident, as lowest elo on SG, i basically became support bitch after we acquired more players, but it's really grown on me since. def my most consistent role, and what i end up winning the majority of my games as, lol.
Arnovic (16) Wants to learn: Rammus, Alistar, Tryndamere, Laning/farming basics Favorite champions: Singed, Pantheon ID: Arnovic Server: EU West
My biggest problem is that I always have the lowest money at the end of the game, even when I play Singed. I guess like being a tank but also not being completely useless (only being able to take damage) in fights.
Edit: I have a LAN party in like 2 weeks and I dont want to let the team down
Lifetilt (14) Wants to learn: Mordekaiser, Veigar, Any character you think my suit my play style, Jungling Server: US
I started playing about two weeks ago, I have a good group of friends teaching me (I have been playing at these low levels with people that are 30, matching against opponents of similar rank). I take my lumps in these games, but overall I play pretty well in games when I enter the solo matchmaking queue. I would say my biggest weaknesses are map awareness and learning the nuances of all the different champions.
Feel free to add me if you want to help, like I said, I have some people helping already, but more opinions wouldn't hurt.
I find it ironic that I'm about to post this seeing as I was the first post as a baddie in this thread over a year ago, but I'm willing to teach now.
I main AP mids. I can play a very large range of APs, and if I have to learn a new one, I can do it very quickly. I consider myself pretty highly proficient at Cassiopeia (got just shy of 1800 playing almost solely cass). I'm now ~1650 climbing my way back up after a rough weekend a couple weeks ago.
I can teach some of the nuances and what goes on through my head playing mid, as well as teach champ match ups and basics.

Reading this post made me happy. This is a premier example of why the teamliquid community is awesome.
I got to lvl 30 like 2 weeks ago, I play support and AP's and... I think I'm not doing all that good with: -Janna -Veigar -Morg
I dont want to play rankeds by now, I dont feel like I'm in quite a good spot to start doing it since I definately require more "variety" when playing champs, I always love playing support but i know that like 60% of the time someone's going to take that role first.
I do know the basics about playing support, but I dont know... I want to improve more and more, sometimes I feel it's my team fault for doing "A" or "B" thing... but I know.. and feel that part of that fault is mine, I want to know how to discriminate that, and get to be a better player overall.

Can teach: Support (any) Veigar Sivir, Caitlin, Basic jungling When to farm and when not to Awareness
Chilean guy ^:
You can't take responsibility in pub games for people getting themselves killed, not battling for objectives, or losing their lane. You simply have to focus on not getting yourself killed, making sure your team is aware of objectives and doing as much as you can every teamfight.
Baddie who wants to learn everything about the game at the moment. Figure I should get decent at filling every role before I really focus on one, but eventually would like to focus on learning to be a ranged AD carry.
Summoner ID: Beriph (26) Wants to learn: Everything
Currently lvl28, about 60% to lvl29. Want to learn the deeper intricacies of the game such as which lanes houses which champions and how to counterpick. Would also appreciate some teaching in AP carries. I mainly play Ahri/Lux. Also trying to learn how to play supports such as Janna/Soraka.
Im 1529 atm and specialize in AD carry and play it for my team, Mostly vayne, corki and trist but can do all AD except for caitlyn, i cant stand playing her, i can play her but its just an irrational hatred for the champion's accent xd. I can teach jungle as shaco/nocturne, or ap such as malz, brand annie, ryze etc. My solo top is quite limited to warwick, akali Im able to play support soraka/taric but its my last resort role and not up to par with the rest. Along with being able to teach AD, I can explain the concepts and playstyles behind the other roles and champions. My LoL (EUW) ID: DotaisBetter , Im free quite often and glad to help :D.

Can teach anything. I think I'm 6-1 ~1450 ranked right now; just for a lack of playing more ranked games. Also, don't take any of my videos or streaming legitimately, unless you know its ranked. Usually run normal games when I'm busy @_@

Never ever try to turn the French dubs on while playing Rammus.
Summoner ID: LotsOfRamen Level 30, some ranked games. Server: NA Wants to learn: AP Carry and Support (particularly, Annie, Brand, Zilean, Sona, Alistar). And just how to be a better LoL gamer in general.
I added a few people I think I can help, so if you get a request in game from me (my summoner name is the same as my TL name) that's me.
I play mainly AP mid and support and I play a few top laners.
I can teach Brand, Annie, Morgana, and Xerath for mid. Alistar, Soraka, Taric, and Janna for support. Riven, Jarman, and Cho for top lane. Feel free to add me if you want some help with one of those champions.
as per neoilluzionz' rules i state that i choose beriph (deverlight) as my starter pokemon disciple i will raise him to be a bicpro better than the rest
Teacher: I was Gold last season, practicing for ranked again after a Dominion binge. Waiting on a bud of mine to hit thirty before I go for Gold/Plat this season.
I'm Best with: AP Nid (Dominion, Support Bot SR, top solo SR) Jungle Lee Sin Ahri (Mid Solo) Shaco (Jungle, ap support bot) Cait (SR Bot) Ww Jungle (he's not top tier anymore *tear) Veigar (Mid Bot, can jungle but dun recommend) Kayle (Dom, SR AD Ranged Bot, SR Jungle) Leblanc (Mid SR, Dominion) Poppy (Dominion) Nocturne (Dominion)
Student: Looking for practice partners for new metas, and solos)
~1500 ELO player looking for people to tutor on the NA server.
I play: [MAIN]AD Carry (I can play every one well) AP Mid - Kassadin, Brand, Ahri, Swain, Orianna, Kennen, Morgana, Veigar, Akali (solo top or AP mid) Solo Top - Irelia, Riven, Nasus, Akali Jungle - Lee Sin, Shyvana
AD Carry and AP Mid roles are what I'm best at. Add me if you have any questions.
Summoner Name: InCka I'm a baddie , 1200-1350 ELO level
I'd like to learn AD carries and how to interact with a support in pub games. Champs I'd like to learn: Corki Champs I'd like to improve on: Caitlyn, Graves
I would like a teacher to pretty much reteach me the game, because, although I am level 30, I am terrible. I know the basics but I never seem to do well. I want to be able to use anything the team needs like support or tank, but preferably a jungler, like Nocturne or Lee Sin, or AD carry. Anyone would like to teach this baddie? :D
Summoner Name: demonik187 Summoner Level: 30 Server: NA
Availability: I can typically be found in game Saturday - Wednesday from 9am - 3pm, Thursday and Friday any time. I work 3rd shift with Thurs and Fri off.
Want to learn: Everything. I would especially like to learn how to carry. I am most capable with Solo tops, Jungles and Supports. I would like to become better at those roles, but would also like to learn others so that I always have a place in a ranked game.
Strengths: Communication, almost always in teamfights, decent map awareness.
Weaknesses: I have a hard time with last hitting and trading harrass in lane. Sometimes I get tunnel vision/bloodlust with my intent to kill a weakened enemy. I'm somewhat impatient and intolerant of real bads, even though I probably am one. I'm sure there are more...
My ELO floats around 1200 with a 50% win ratio and I have almost 900 normal games played. I seem to have extremely bad luck when it comes to normal solo queues as almost every game results in a leaver/feeder/troll. I admit I'm not the best player and have been the cause of a few losses, even in Ranked where I tend to play very cautiously. I don't think I'm a terrible player as compared to most, as when I am on a good team I personally do very well. I'm almost desperate to get better at the game and advance my rankings.
I want to be the one who wins the game for the team in solo queue, and one who contributes greatly to the team in Ranked. I can get any voice chat program that is needed. I'm a pretty chill, laid back guy and can take critisicm decently well as long as it's not abusive.
My main goal is to be good enough to join a steady 5v5 team for Ranked and not hinder the team.

I'd like to learn:
AD Carry: Tristana and pretty much anything else. I have Graves, Vayne, and Ezreal. I primarily lane with my friend who plays Alistar, so I'm willing to learn anything that has good synergy with Alistar.
AP Carry: I have Zilean, Gragas, and Annie. I am having a blast with Ahri right now though, so I am likely to pick her up as well.
Jungler: This is optional, but I feel it would really help with my game sense. I really only have Rammus though.
Im newish to game only lvl like12 or something in non ranked i havent played in months because i played because of my gf but we broke up also im currently on nordic server (she created account when we were in norway she lives there) but prolly gonna switch to na i really know nothing about the game and would like to learn if anyone willing to play with me and teach me be very cool i have skype teamspeak etc.

Summoner name: Nehsb Server: NA I'm 1633 and I suck at this game. But I can teach AP (I'm best at xerath, malz, kass and annie, in order of proficiency) and solotop ( best at singed/renek.) I can sorta teach jungle/support. The only AD i can play with any proficiency though is vayne.
Summoner name: Lolmega Server: NA 1200~ elo and looking to learn wukong, volibear jungle and top, leblanc, nocturne, jungle fiddlesticks, kassadin, vayne, graves, sona, and evelynn
I feel fairly proficient at laning and control, at least compared to the friends I play with.
I primarily play AD carry: Graves, Ashe, Vayne, and Trist is who I currently own, but am looking to get Cait very soon as well. I also play some solo top, generally the assassins, and really enjoy those, but have yet to purchase any. I also have Ryze and Annie I mid with, but pretty much only when nobody else picks them. I tend to wait for everyone else to pick in blind pick then fill in what's needed and hope I don't suck at it.
EDIT: Wow... just realized how old this thread is.

I am a competitive sc2 player and I would like to know a) what champions to play to consistently carry pugs most effectively b) how to play these champions. I main Karth, Morg, Brand, Noct (pre-jungle nerf). I have an affinity for gaming/can pick stuff up quickly, so if you are a skilled player who is feeling generous I'd love to learn from you stuff that may not be obvious just from playing on my own.
Baddie...I guess?(I just started, level 12 in under a week)

I'm 1:1 B/B+ and A- 2v2 in SCBW in under a year so basically I learn pretty fast and I'm good with logic/stuff ;p I want to learn about all of the champions, their strengths and weaknesses so that I have a competitive edge by knowing the capabilities of each champion and reacting accordingly. I believe awareness is essential to success. At the moment I play Tristina, only played 3 normal games (rest of them VS Intermediate AI) (Got flash before starting normal games) My best score was carrying my team 33/8 and i believe 14 assists. You can also contact me on skype: Next.Legacy [OaSis]LegaCy is my broodwar/iccup ID
I live in GTA(Greater Toronto Area), Ontario. EST time and I can usually play after school from 4pm to 9-10pm, weekends all day basically. High School is EZ ;p
Yeah, if you can help me. Hit me up either on skype, scbw or LoL
ID: Toopski <-- Baddie LVL 23 (Eastern Time Zone) Would like to learn Nocturne(the finer points), Jax, Mordekaiser, Zilean and/or a tank of some kind. Not entirely limited to these and willing to take on any another champ/playstyle that someone would be willing to teach. Thanks! <3
Edit: Jeez, I think this thread may need a new OP to post the Baddie list

I'm okay.. I guess my Elo is above average, but I'm not that good. I was just saying because I know him and we never play together, so that was my way of saying "hey, we should LoL together sometime".

I'm a level 13 summoner. I'd like to think I've got a decent understanding of the game, but I'm still pretty horrible all the same... I never really know what stage I'm at in the game or what I should be doing at times.
My 4 favorite champs are: Amumu, Riven, Alistar, and Leona I would like to learn Amumu better as well as Riven... and just get a solid understanding of the game. When is a good time to push vs another time... As well as counters and how to know when I shouldn't be too aggressive vs when it's ok to be aggressive..
Although I recently hit lvl 30 I feel like my understanding of the game and what it takes to do well in LoL still lacks a lot. I'm playing on EU West and usually I´ll be online in the evening from ~ 7pm to 10pm I am eager to learn and get better. Vent/ TS / Skype shouldnt be a problem either.
champs i want to learn:
Nocturne-Jungle Love him but i suck :-( Cho - solo top Riven - solo top Xerath Anivia (I tend to do worst with mages)
Anyone want to play some games with me. Im pretty decent at LOL even tho I have only played a few games. I am an iccup player from bw. Just looking for some decent players to play with. Tips are always great. I play with alot of different champs, mostly test out the weekly free ones. I like annie, lux, vayne, ashe, yi, udyr, brand and a few others. Im level 19 or 20. Hit me up if you want to game
