As you'd expect. He changed the subject when scoots confronted him as to why they're getting involved esports backwards - huge amounts of money for prizes but no actual game features to support it (replays/obs mode), maybe use the money to make the game esport friendly first?
He does state that 210k viewers for a tournament is really awesome and that they broke all kinds of records. He also states riot is a player centric company that listens to feedback.
He doesn't know when the obs features will be released but expect it sooner rather than later.
Nothing interesting was revealed. A really boring interview tbh.

Dude...I find it really weird that someone as chill as quiet and chill as Jiji can be so skilled. Elementz and HotShot QQ so much but they seem to be carried by Jiji often times. Jiji needs to man up and tell his team mates to mature a bit.

My monitor seems to have royaly fucked up -.- can't select anything higher than 1280x720 so I created a new one via the nvidia tool and it works for everything except lol. So now my League of Legends plays in a 1280x720 resolution on 1900 screen. And I can't fix it even by adjusting the game files ;________;

Show me evidence of that? I'm fairly certain that is not true but rather there are other issues that are taking priority at the moment. You may be misinterpreting a "is not the most important thing right now" for "not important at all"
Biggest counter argument to what you're saying is that the newest version of the launcher (implemented maybe a month or so ago) was a preparation for replays.

There was a post by morello to a comment I made on the general forum a while back when I asked about replays and obs mode and the answer he gave was something along the lines of "We dont feel that those features are as important as other things we are working on." Even in the interview last night Marcou made the point that the he was convinced by the upper management at Riot that they were doing things the right way despite not pushing out these features.
And the biggest counter to the new launcher is that replays and obs mode have been demanded for over a year, at this point probably closer to 2. Yet the only thing we have to show for it is a new launcher? I know stuff like this takes time. You cannot argue against that. However, you cannot tell me that this is THE FASTEST POSSIBLE WORKING SPEED.
Not to mention how do you defend the stuff that happened outside of not having the technical aspects finished? The dc rule where EG LOST A FREAKING SEMIFINAL because of a dc and didnt get a regame? The bizarre structure where there could have been a 1 game grand final. Hell, Marcou was lucky to get the questions he did because the damage could have been much worse.
I'll say it again. Its great that Riot is willing to front the money. Its just too bad they cant do anything else right.

Ya the 1500's are the biggest cesspool in all of elo. You can carry below that because everyone is just bad, but once you get there you end up with people who think they are hot shit and just afk as soon as you even suggest that they might be doing something wrong.
Or, more commonly, you get the people who play WAY to aggressive because that worked to get them there, but now that players are decentish they only fail miserably.
Or you get the people who kinda know what they are doing in terms of getting kills and such, but refuse to actually get objectives that win you the game.
