Has anyone figured out a good build for monk yet?

So far I find that:

He needs wriggles whether laning or jungling (derp). Not just because wriggles is obviously a broken item, but because later on he's gonna be maxed out on item but needs to be able to place a ward in emergency.

He doesn't go with triforce. For damage, bloodthister is just plain better because it stacks a ridiculous amount of lifesteal on top of his 30% lifesteal and 14% lifesteal from wriggles.

He's designed to be very tanky in 1v1 confrontations but shouldn't be tanking focus fires. Pure tank wastes his potential and his high AD scaling, but he needs a lot of mitigation nonetheless. He's tanky in the same vein as how warwick is tanky.

Keeping his passive up is very important.

His shield is free if you shield your allies and both your shields get broken.

Bloodthirster, really? Wriggles in lane (not bad generally, but on him...?) I'd rather just build mitigation, that actually multiplies your lifesteal whereas building more vamp scepter items is additive, ie silly

that you ask if anyone has figured out a good monk build yet and then have an outline of what you consider necessary which is pretty much a complete build (wriggles + thirster + tank items) seems odd to me

btw: went RoA because I was far behind due to Alistar ganks. Usually keep cata and get bveil later on.

Problem is, if you build pure mitigation you don't any damage at all. Wriggles is definitely core on him. If you want to provide any sort of damage at all you need a thister or some other AD-heavy item. I just said BT but realistically it's probably too hard to maintain 40 stacks on LeeSin.

I can't really think of another damage item you'd want on leesin though. Black cleaver is impractical. Ghostblade gives him too much of what he doesn't need. Last whisper...not good enough. Bloodrazor doesn't really abuse his amazing scaling.

I actually agree with tap. Wriggles and w is incredibly op= you can lifesteal to full off of a proc. I have actually found that you can perpetually jungle from level 1 if you max w and get a vamp cepter.

Also agreed on triforce being terrible on him. It just doesnt have the same bang for the buck that it seems to have on other melee dps. I havent tried thirster yet, but i shall.

ive only seen 1 lee sin so far and he raped with bloodthirster

he jungled then went wriggles --> treads ---> thirster ----> veil ---->

I wonder how good a wriggles - boots - mallet - veil - atmas - IE - BT build would be ? (maybe mix the order up, but I am gonna try that build next time I play him, cus to me it seems like a good idea)

Had an amazing game on Veigar after not having played him in a very long time. Karthus had 3 archangels (800+ AP) earlier in the game, which leads me to regret not looking at my "Largest Hit" stat to see how much damage he took from a raw ult that looked like it oneshot him. Once the tanky DPS playstyle goes down the tubes, this guy is making a comeback.
