I'm really hating the recent tower apen buff. It feels like after that, the losing team's been able to defend for an unlimited amount of time since you no longer can tank the towers so well, and this makes you extend games won at 20min to like 35-40min. It's really annoying. It's like Riot has no idea what's good for the game to be enjoyable.

I honestly don't even notice it.

Only time I ever feel it is if my team is pussyfooting around and I have to tank for way to long. On a good team that moves decisively, I never notice it.

This seems like the best place to ask rather than start a new thread or bump an old one.
I'm going to start adding to my Youtube channel which was previously limited to a few random videos and funny LoL occurrences. Along with the funny LoL moments I plan on maybe starting some commentary, a couple tutorials and opinion blog type stuff. At some point I'm going to make an introductory video regarding myself but I was wondering if I should mention or credit TL at all and what the protocol usually is for that sort of thing.
The reason I ask is because obviously I am by no means a high level player and wouldn't want to disgrace our good name in any way if I screw up or get some basic info wrong, or bring a lot of useless traffic to the subforums or main website if it is unwanted (I remember the uproar regarding the influx of SC2 beta players a year ago).
So I ask your opinions TL LoL subforum-ers: what can and can't I mention? (ie LiquidParty, high ELO namedropping, TL.net itself, etc.?)
|
The only thing I noticed is that towers are now pretty weak early/mid, and as the game goes on they get worse and worse against minions. 4 hits to kill a melee minion at 20 or so minutes, lol.
|
I think the names of smurfs should remain hidden. Other then that, the LoL sub-forum is so small and so aggressive towards bad, loud and ignorant players, that no harm could come of attention.
Also, I think by creating videos and the feedback you get on them, you'll improve very fast. Just focus on being entertaining and open for critique.
I am pretty new here, though. Might be completely wrong.

Just ask my best friend, 2K elo player, ChrispySC. Heh. Played a few games with him last week...as far as I can remember TL too heavy once again. I doubt I'll do any real namedropping to be honest...I'll probably just speak of the subforums a little regarding it being a good place to find a little advice, some guides and a lot of trolling. Do you think I can drop a link in the comments in case people want to have a look, or bad idea?

There will be no problems with adding the forums or liquidparty to your comments. You just might want to include a warning that stupidity is not tolerated. Unless its from me. In which case it is loved.
