Does Blizzard make it look so easy? They're certainly good at what they do, but back when I played WoW, every major content patch involved 1-4 days of ridiculously laggy/unstable servers. IIRC, it was the same in SC2.

SC2 beta had server and patch day issues comparable to LoL. Since SC2 retail hit it hasn't been as bad. WoW used to have similar problems, but seems to have improved marginally over the last ~3 years. WoW is still nigh unplayable on content patch days, but those only come every few months, and are seemingly due to sheer server load.

The big difference between the two companies are in their patchers and clients, as opposed to the game executables or the servers. There's a tremendous number of issues with the LoL patcher, Pando Media Booster, the Flash client (Adobe Air), etc. Everything standing between the player and the LoL game executable is a huge mess.

Trying to use Caitlyn is like getting through Viridian Forest, bugs all over the place. She doesn't have a single skill that doesn't flip out and doesn't work properly at least once a game.

Lokan I've never ever insulted you or called you an idiot until last night for doing what you did which is giving up while I was trying my balls off to win the game and asking everyone what we need to do to win. Every time I disagreed with you you'd occasionally take 1min to explain then when I kept asking questions you just go batshit insane like WHO THE FUCK AM I TO QUESTION YOU, which is the attitude you're displaying right now. Like you've played 10x more LOL than me LOL therefore I should never question you. Not sure what to say to that except calm the fuck down. I don't know if it's my tone when I argue that bothers you or the fact that I disagree with you at all that bothers you. If it's the former I can only say I've always thought you understood I argued because I tried to learn but nonetheless you still flip out every single time. I've honestly never seen anyone so resistant to passing on knowledge, because you somehow interpret my disagreements as insults to your game sense or experience. It's a little alarming how defensive you are about your skill level and how eager you are to assume the dominant position as the "better" player. Not even 5hitcombo is as eager as you to tell me how much better he is than me whenever I ask him something.

The other part is, I don't like carries giving up before anyone else on the team gives up. If I'm playing with some lv3 newbie as an 0-10 carry and our nexus is 1/3 health but the lv3 thinks we can still win and keeps on trying, I'll make sure to do everything in my power to help him. I will NEVER say shit like, "the game is over anyway" if only one person on my team thinks differently. If you disagree then perhaps you shouldn't carry.

Edit: Just to make sure you don't interpret this as an insult to your skill again. What I'm angry about is your bad leadership, what you interpreted it as is an insult to your game sense. Those are not the same things. You may be absolutely correct that out of 100 times we would've won the game once, but if I'm still trying because they haven't gotten any inner towers yet and my low level game sense can't foresee an inevitable loss, I don't want to hear my carry say shit like "this game is over there's no point."
