FIX THE FUCKING IGNORE FUNCTION&LIST&MULTIPLECHAT+IGNORE. hate having to put everyone on ignore every single fucking game. Yeah, I was watching the stream last night of that game...
Psyonic was pushing top with shen, team fight happens bottom, psyonic doesn't ult because his ult isn't up and doesn't run over because he thought the distance was too great. Ezreal gets on his case about it (because they lose the fight of course) and then starts mocking Psy while standing around in mid saying something like "I can't team fight my ult isn't up".
Psy was definitely raging, but the guy *was* asking for it and knew he was.

As an aside, I don't trust people in solo-queue who tell me to pick a champ. I just assume they don't even own it themselves. Then when I get in game I use /ignore immediately.
I also never want to solo queue ever again. don't trick me into it please XD

I also never want to solo queue ever again. don't trick me into it please XD LOL, I felt like such a dick when I did this for someone. I was first pick and took amumu for them and they started naming off champs they had. Not a single god damn one did I have but then they mention Veigar. I think to myself "Oh hey, veigar is free this week and I know the play style fairly alright so lets go with him." Trading time comes and I then realize that Veigar is no longer free like he was the week before... Both myself and the guy on veigar had no mastery points put in and I felt like a dick laning amumu and basically costing us the game. Thankfully he was alright with it because we were the only two that weren't feeding as well.
So is psy getting spanked?

If the forums have their way Psy will be crucified for his sins, his body will be burned and his ashes put in an urn which will then be used as a chamber pot by the entire player base before being launched into the sun.

Ooo, that really sucks. Dear psyonic please be more conservative.

Yeah... I'm skimming through the gagillion page long thread right now... It seems that Psy was removed from council and they aren't recognizing him as a Riot employee.

Word. You're a Red now, everything you do will be under scrutiny, especially if you livestream it, haha.
That Caller boy, he's nothing but a bad influence.

Thread closed. Good riddance.
|
That thread getting close just made 20 new ones pop up... Not sure it was a good idea to close it.
|
That's actually preferable in my experience, at least in cases of silly self-righteous internet justice rage. When you let it all simmer in one thread you get a feedback effect where a posse of would-be vigilantes downvote everything and keep the rage in perpetual motion. Once it's split into 100 other threads it's a lot more effort to sway the uninformed and raise a ruckas, although there's a lot more clutter.
Although if Riot was really crazy they could turn this into a League of Legends match. Make PsyonicHero a Noxian noble on trial by Demacia for war crimes, outcome determined by winning team.
Edit: Riot is closing all related threads. There are people whining about censorship and shaking their fists at THE MAN but I don't think the general populace really cares.

I'm not really following the discussion 100%: I didn't read all the screenshots, or all the thread in the official threads (who would...). But I can tell you this:
As an admin/mod when you enter a game/discussion as a user, you stay as a user. Meaning, if you start treating someone with words as a user, or even flame them, you have to keep it that way. You can't turn 180° and suddenly start talking as an admin. Its not fair. Yes. even to the retarded users.
I repeat, I didn't read the whole conversation/thread, so I'm not judging Psy. Just a general rule I use in all the forums I mod.

I'll keep you guys updated as soon as I know what is going to happen. Caller, I'm sorry to have dragged you into this even though nobody knows you, your name is still in the screenshot. They will ask me why you have that skin and I'll tell them the truth but I doubt they'll let you hang onto it. Sorry again.

I'll lose some faith in Riot if mob justice prevails, but since they've decided to lock every thread on the subject I have some hope that they won't let the public nature of this incident cloud their judgement.

That guy kind of screwed himself over on that one, actually, since Psy is technically satisfying what the customer asked for. As far as I'm concerned, there's absolutely nothing wrong with the policy of "martyrdom/ban requests will be followed up 100%".

For better or for worse, Riot has a brand to protect. PR is a really big deal for them as it is for every other business. They really can't afford to have anything other than a zero tolerance policy for this kind of stuff. It doesn't really even matter whether one of their employees was provoked. No Riot employee can be caught flaming and cursing at a customer, regardless of the circumstances.

It's hard to say, the changes to Heimer and Caitlyn were exactly the kind of changes Riot has been talking about. Reduction in Cho losing stacks was also talked about. Jungle Eve nerf was talked about. Panth stun duration nerf has also been confirmed, and some of the bug fixes are fairly unusual and not immediately obvious.
Granted someone can just be tracking all red posts and make patch notes based off of that, though if someone did fake these notes I think they did a dang good job of it.
Even with the change though Ardor is probably the worst mastery in the game.

My only contention is that the public nature of this incident should not alter the severity of any punishment Psyonic receives. If Riot does X to all employees in a similar, less public situation and does Y instead to Psyonic I see that as an injustice.
PR is important, but for the same reason we are never informed whether our reports lead to any specific result Riot should neither cave to the pitchfork wielding crowd nor inform us as to the results of their investigation.

Jungle monsters that previously had negative magic resistance now have magic resistance of zero WHAT
Doesn't this have a huge effect on fragile magic damage-dependent junglers like Amumu? I feel like it would make doing Golem at level 1 leave you uncomfortably low.
