As part of our goal to bring you the best Heroes content on the web, our writing team is pleased to present to you our brand new group podcast, Nexus Nights! Based on the success of TL Strategy’s Strat Chat, we decided that, alongside the launch of our official Twitter account, this was an opportune time to start up our own podcast to cover topics relating to our favorite game, Heroes of the Storm. The writers are all high-ranked and knowledgeable players, and we believe we can bring a new perspective to the scene when compared to podcasts like Town Hall Heroes and Into the Nexus, and alas, this is the product of our efforts.
The topics of the show will be centered on current events and in-game trends, ranging from discussion about teams and tournaments to in-depth overviews of the changing meta. We really want to focus in on ideas and examine how they affect the game and the scene as a whole rather than just talking about current events with rather generalized opinions. Furthermore, we hope that these podcasts will be educational to some degree in their discovery of concepts and ideas related to Heroes of the Storm.

Episodes air every other Saturday at 9:00 PM EST on our live stream. I loved listening to this, that was a real treat. I gave up listening to Town Hall because every episode breaks down into them yelling at each other, I couldn't stand it, and I've been looking for another podcast ever since. I think this may be my new go to Just wish it was every week!

Thank you! We've been excited to do something like this, and even though this was still a little subpar to what we're aiming for, we're glad that people find it enjoyable and informational. Our next podcast should be even more focused .

It would appear that the time in the top post of this thread is wrong.
Not that I'm aware, it should convert the time to whatever time zone you're in. Double-checked it on my pc and through a friend in another time zone. It should be accurate.
Video for Episode 2 is up! I apologize greatly for the delay! I used an encoding for the video that blew it up to 16GB (:O), so it took forever to process and then upload to YouTube. Solution was found, though, so videos will be up much sooner in the coming future.
Our next episode is scheduled for Saturday the 19th and will likely be focused on WCA and Towers of Doom.

Sorry! I dropped the ball on this one. The second and third episodes should be up now. We are also working on getting us on iTunes but there are some problems atm.

Just an update: we'll be doing Nexus Nights this weekend a few hours after the EU qualifier ends for the day. We're still finalizing topics, but it's likely to be centered on the recent qualifiers and how the competitive scene is evolving!

I've been watching these this week after a recommendation. Mostly enjoyed them, but episode 5 was a bit cringe for me. I'm sure others have mentioned it to you. SC2John I recognise you from team liquid, but i don't recognise the other guys you're doing this show with. Have you guys done other stuff? Or stream or anything?

We got that response from a lot of people. From our perspective, we were just having a good time and joking around, but a lot of people took it as us being overly critical and derogatory, so we'll work on that if we ever do a game analysis again.
We're all the writers/editors here at Team Liquid. Vaalia is currently the coach for Resurgence and Icy-Veins writer, and xDaunt and Valiver are really high-level players. Oh yes!, and Shiroiusagi is the TL graphics queen...basically all the graphics you see on TL and its sister sites are courtesy of her. We understand that a lot of people might not be familiar with our faces, but that's why we're doing the show! In the next few months, we are looking to have a pro player or caster on as a guest each episode to talk with us. I'm glad you're enjoying the show overall, I think we might start streaming some QMs together on off weeks in the coming future, assuming we're not buried in work/school.

John didn't mention me, but I am on the podcast largely just because I post obsessively to this forum.
