Edit: I have emailed to all the winners about how much the shirt + shipping + paypal will be. The approximation should be correct. Let's just hope that I calculated right and paypal doesn't ram me up the ass with hidden fees. Hurry up and pay me so I can mail these out ASAP! Big brown boxes in the middle of my studio is unsightly!

Now, as I've said, there were some heartfelt mails, but many, many of your emails were pretty generic (what happened to creative, clever and concise!?). However, here are the few that really made my day. It was effort that I was seeking. Throwing me a one liner saying "I want this shirt cuz it's cool, OMGBBQ I LOVE SKT1 Boxer and Bisu OMGOMGOMG" wasn't exactly the type of effort I was looking for.

I've always thought SKT1 had the BeSt uniforms and while this shirt isn't the same as their uniforms, I can play out my fantasy of wearing one. SKT1 isn't my favorite team, but I definitely respect them and even have a little fear when STX takes SKT1 on. When SKT1 is really on fire its like Mike Tyson getting ready to Rumble, with their opponent being some unknown BoxeR. With so many legends and legends in the making, the SKT1 logo represents what I think e-sports should look like. I would be proud to wear that SKT1 logo, but if you Canata offer me a shirt I will Bisu sad, but I will understand. You're probably tired of the punsoo I'll just leave it at that  .

I have not investigated into that. It would have caused delays (even more so). Besides, none of you would actually WEAR the shirt if it had autographs on them, and who's to say they actually sign them, it's not just a print?

Alright, I checked the e-mail and will reply to the e-mail (in which you will see in few moments) and will log onto paypal to send you the money!!! (in which I'll once again repeat what I said in the e-mail)
Though seeing how I went onto paypal.com and realized that I don't have any balance but my bank account attached to it, it said I can directly wire it from my bank to your account thru paypal but it takes 3-5 days to process it... hmm....
Is there a faster way to do this??
edit: nvm, I realized there's a function called "Instant Transfer" in which I assume takes quicker time without first putting money on the paypal... I guess I'll try using that method..

I had some problems with paypal, too, actually had to confirm my adress and everything... (almost couldn't sleep because of that, too.)
a very good friend of mine even said he'd look for someone with a paypal account since nobody uses it around here.

I don't really understand what you're talking about.
Adidas produces the shirts for SKT. SKT has a shop and sells them, susie bought and shipped them as a voluntary service to TL users, because people outside of Korea cannot buy them.
It's an Adidas logo on an original Adidas product.

You never wondered why only certain items can be sold in certain countrys, it because that country holds the patten rights and may not want to share it with other countrys, the copyright law is a complicated one but easy to learn. I am just saying that you must check into these things before buying and selling from stores specially in mass cause it can land you in trouble if they find out. When you sell like you did your acting as a distributer which requires a license to do so and permission of the manifacturer to distribute there product internationally.

Wow man. As far as I know, there's nothing wrong with Susie simply acting as a "middle man" in this process. She simply bought them and is sold them back to us as a favour. She isn't even making a profit out of any of these which essentially makes it the same if we went to Korea and bought the shirts ourselves. It would've also been the same if she sold them on ebay...
As to why Adidas doesn't sell the SKT1 outside of Korea is simply because THERE IS NO MARKET - besides us that is. But it's obvious not profitable enough for Adidas. BTW, there are no patents on these.. lol. Copyright law applies to abstract content only..for example music, books. What Adidas is is a trademark... and because Adidas operates worldwide, it wouldn't have a problem distributing this shirt WW either. This is a simple scenario of supply and demand. Why supply a region with SKT1 shirts if there is no demand.

I've already asked SKT1 if they care that I send it out. Most of the pro-teams know me, my intentions and my relationship with TL. If they had an issue with it, I'm sure they would have told me otherwise.

I can argue that I'm not selling them but I bought them to give them away as gifts to friends all over the world who were just so grateful that they decided to donate some money to me.
It's like getting money from friends before taking a trip somewhere and buying them souvenirs from the said trip and mailing it to them since I'm too lazy to go directly to their houses.

1) I hope she continues doing it because as far as I know, the demand here outstripped her ability to supply them this time.
2) I'd be perfectly fine if she made a profit from doing it since she is providing a service to the foreigners. It just shows how great of a person she is to do it without profit.
3) You need to learn to spell, punctuate, use the appropriate words and write shorter sentences.
4) As for selling products across countries:
Companies usually do not like products being exported because they practice price discrimination. A prime example of this is Microsoft selling windows for $5 ( or somewhere around that figure ) in China because the consumers there simply do not want to pay more due to rampant piracy. If someone were to buy Windows in China for $5 in bulk and sell them in the United States for $10, It would obviously hurt Microsoft since it unfairly undercuts their windows sales in the US. However, this only applies to products which are available in both countries.
In the case of SKT1 shirts, there is no equivalence of that product outside of Korea, which removes most of the rational for preventing export. As someone has mentioned before, these shirts aren't sold outside of Korean simply because of the lack of market. In fact I think we are doing Adidas a favor by purchasing these shirts since I'm sure they earn a profit on them.
There are many examples of selling product to a foreign country due to lack of availability. For example you can check out http://www.dynamism.com, which does that for laptops which are not available in the states.

It just shows how great of a person she is to do it without profit. 3) You need to learn to spell, punctuate, use the appropriate words and write shorter sentences. 4) As for selling products across countries: Companies usually do not like this because they practice price discrimination. A prime example of this is Microsoft selling windows for $5 ( or somewhere around that figure ) in China because the consumers there simply do not want to pay that amount of money due to rampant piracy. If someone were to buy Windows in China for $5 in bulk and sell them in the United States for $10, It would obviously hurt Microsoft since it unfairly undercuts their windows sales in the US. However, this only applies to products which are available in both countries. In the case of SKT1 shirts, there is no equivalence of that product outside of Korea, which removes most of the rational for preventing export. As someone has mentioned before, these shirts aren't sold outside of Korean simply because of the lack of market. In fact I think we are doing Adidas a favor by purchasing these shirts since I'm sure they earn a profit on them. There are many examples of selling product to a foreign country due to lack of availability. For example you can check out http://www.dynamism.com, which does that for laptops which are not available in the states.

the sole reason she did this in the first place is because Adidas (and any other KR company associated with e-sports, like Lecaf OZ and Le Coq Sportif) deem the market outside of SKorea would not be profitable.

I am not in korea, but if you are you can present the statisitics on how many play starcraft they might consider doing it once see the figures...im sure there is a market for the many fans of pro gamers....I just hope adidas dont go the direction of general motors when a company like GM goes bankrupt that not good sign for rest them...
