whichever country prides itself in it's beautiful women means they have nothing else to offer to tourists.
Every country in the world could say the same thing, but the difference is, some waste the precious advertising space on things that are worth mentioning.
EDIT: that being said, I think girls in Croatia are beautiful, but since I've only been to like 3-4 other countries, I won't say they're the most beautiful in the world. (Tho they beat Austria, Hungary and Czech Republik)
What else I like about Croatia: - tap water is good for drinking - low pollution levels in general, very clean air - slow/laid back rhythm of life. On a beautiful day, outdoor the coffee places are filled with people, regardless of the time of the day. - versatility of nature: 4 seasons. In winter you can skii, in summer, just about 50km further, you swim in the sea. Gorgerous islands. - relatively safe
dislike: - the same thing i mentioned above: slow/laid back rhythm of life. On a beautiful day, outdoor the coffee places are filled with people, regardless of the time of the day. We are too lazy to take things to our hands and make something of our country. - we still do all we can to cheat the government even tho we finally live in our own country. - childish politicians - inertia/slowness of the bueraucratic system. lots of room for corruption. - poor public transport. - people often being ashamed of who they are, and pretending too much to be western-like

Good old USA.
The Good: -There is an astounding amount of diversity, which has allowed us to produce so much bitchin' culture, from movies to art to music. On a national level, this is probably the best thing I can say about America. It is far from the only good thing, though, but most everything else would only hold true on a regional level (which says something about the level of diversity to be found).
The Bad: -My God, we're fucking dumb as hell sometimes. -The brutal crimes we've committed against several ethnic groups, ranging from genocide to imprisonment.
On April 08 2009 19:03 Velr wrote: Btw: It's really funny how only the US citizens mention *freedom*, i don't know, i would never mention this because this is something that is just totally normal and nothing worth mentioning... Really funny, seems like your really brainwashed into thinking that the USA for some reason grants more freedom than every other place in the world ^^. Thats just something i noticed in this and also in other topics, also how often your politicians like to use the word... I'm really wondering what is up with that.
American's tend to mention freedom because it's one of the founding principals of our country. Perhaps we don't mean that we love how free we are (because it's true, there are countries that have more freedoms), but that we love that our country was founded on the ideal of freedom.

If u think that Venezuela is not worthy of the beautiful women mention...then I completely disagree with u And Romania is a pretty nice country actually, it's just that the prices for the tourists are waaaay higher than they should be (comparing it to Bulgaria or Greece).

And while I agree that I like what I saw, you can't judge by that coz all women on such contests are beautiful, just depends on different tastes.

Ouu no, it became almost impossible for the ppl in bulgaria to spend a holiday on our sea, its just so damn expensive in the big resorts already. Thats why it became trendy to go to Greece or somewhere else nearby for the summer. I think the main problem for Romania and Bulgaria is that there is no middle class build up yet, I mean there are clearly many rich and many poor ppl, but the average Joe doesn't have the life-standard of a guy from Slovenia for example. And joining the EU barely did any good so far (I'm not sure about Romania thou, maybe you can say) I'm not so close to the political life in my country but, every time I go back to Bulgaria, which happens like 2 times per year, its always the same shit

Good: -Our work ethic is just right, IMO. We're more productive than Europeans but more leisurely than East Asians. -Best education system at the collegiate level -Fuck all you haters, American food is great, rah rah Burger King. Plus we can get any food from any culture we want pretty easily.
Bad: -Race is a serious problem and no one has the answer to solve the clear and present inequality between the standard of living of whites and non-whites. However, I don't think that racism is a problem per se. -We're lazy as a society in that we don't want to take drastic action to solve a problem that isn't staring us in the face. This is why we are lagging behind on infrastructure repair, global warming, etc.

"Beautiful Women" is really a retarded argument for a country.
Every country has nice women, or at least most . It's also often more a clothing style thing and this can differ extremely between countries. "Amount of high heels or miniskirts per women "
There for sure are not all ethnicities looking the same (this has so nothing to do with country) but if every country that claims to have the most beautiful women actually had them we would have loads of #1's...
The highest amount of beautiful women per inhabitant I saw (AOBWPI :p) in Sweden... But well, we found out that we met 2 whole pretty high level volleyball teams, that could have screwed the statistics a little .

Ireland: -I love our culture, language and music. Seriously the Irish language is beautiful. -95% of the people are friendly and willing to help out with anything. If your car breaks down or whatever, the first or second carr to come along will stop to help you out. There are some assholes but its the same all over. -Socially, I've never had as much fun on a night out anywhere else in the world. Just the atmosphere and the craic seems to be better here than anywhere else, and most people I've met who aren't Irish will agree. -Public transport is great. You can get pretty much anywhere without a car. Just don't expect it to be on time. -Awesome landscapes, from the hills of Connemara, to the Burren, to the mountains of Kerry. Great for hillwalking, mountain climbing etc.
Dislike -Weather = shit -A lot of the people are quite racist, but we've been getting better in the last few years. -Probably biggest alcoholism problem in the world -Fucking expensive everywhere

Dislikes: - German angst: Everyone is afraid of personal responsibility - Consequently everyone complains about what everyone else does - Consequently everyone cries for the state to take care of everything - Consequently everything that makes this country great is abolished bit by bit
I worked as a temp at a German company in Holland, and I have come to meet them as very nice, friendly, helpfull, responsible, and skilled people. Only I found that most of them had this I-am-not-good-enough mentality, which was totally ridiculus. Yes you can add wide ranged perfectionism at both the Pro and Con side for Germany. On the one hand this leads to quality work close to perfection - on the other hand to the attitude you are talking about. A particular funny thing I experience often is that Germans will answer "No" when asked if they speak English unless they are perfectly fluent. Pro tip for foreigners in Germany: People < 30 do speak at least some English, don't even ask if they do just start with English and don't believe them if they claim they don't understand you.

I like: -That I can walk down the street without getting blown the fuck up. (Most don't even realize this one.) -I can find work relatively easy compared to other countries. -There is enough food in this country. -This countries rights and freedoms. -Compared to other countries, this one is more accepting of different cultures/races. -Overall diversity.
I hate: -That as a whole, most of us are pretty stupid. (This is more than likely a product of how easy we have it here.) -Our leadership sucks. -People here don't give no fuck about their health when they eat.

like : our society attempts to take care of everyone and make sure people don't fall completely outside it of course some still do but I think the percentage is lower than virtually anywhere else (tiny countries not included) absolutely beautiful nature people are friendly and nice dont have to worry about crime, cept in oslo but oslo sucks we're stinking rich, and salaries even for boring mundane work you need no education for is really high relatively small diversity between rich and poor, although once again in oslo this changes a little. i also think we have the most sensible penal system in the world (other than countries where its too similar to really distinguish significantly), there are some occasional ridiculous stuff but generally its very good
dislike a LOT of racism and islamophobia. this seriously pisses me off, and its incredibly prevalent. and a lot of people are ungrateful and do not realize how great we have it.

China -
Neg
Family oriented society... too many people who are selfish and look after their family instead of doing something to benefit everyone.
the materialism - money means pretty much everything else day unless you are connected to the government.
the entertainment - Do we have anything really to be proud of these days? most TV programs sucks but i do watch them for a laugh. there are occasional gems there and there.
Shithouse soccer team - WTF can we not have a decent soccer team? Why the fuck have we not won a single game vs Korea in 33 years?
The pollution - The China i knew growing up is so different now that i cry inside everytime i go back. Although i heard everything is getting better now.
The peasant/city situation - People from the country side have absolutely no rights. They get shafted in pretty much everything. It pains me but nothing i can do about it.
Good things - Food... God i miss the food, some of the vegies you can't find anywhere in the world but the city that you come from.
My home, only there i can drink to 2am and nobody would raise an eyebrow lool
the landscape and history - some of them just take my breath away.
the alcohol and smokes - baiju omg
the netcafes - i can play starcraft and have people watching behind me lool.
the hot pot - only in china can i truely enjoy it.
the familiarness - no matter how far away i am or how long i've being out, i can just go there and still not be a stranger.
Now Australia.
Neg -
Internet situation - fucking shithouse internet
The public transport - third world quality.
Toorak people - fucking snobs with money.
TV and movies - everything is always 6 months behind.
The weather - unpredictable in Melbourne.
Crappy newpaper that always publish too much aussie rule footies.
not enough soccer
too much gum trees.
too much red tapes.
Good stuff
Great university and education.
Great living and fresh air that i breathe every morning lol (luxury for a chinese dude).
free and liberal people who don't judge you.
landscape - probably my favourite thing about Australia, Grampian literally took my breathe away, i sat in barwon heads beach on new years eve and did not move for 3 hours.
the liberty of information here, i met people from all over the world and listen to different kinds of music and watch movies in different languages.

- Everything is sick expensive because of ultra high taxes on them, like 10$ for a pack of cigarettes, 40$ and up for a bottle of vodka, almost 2$ pr liter of gasoline.
I'm not sure "Free health care" or "Free education" are the right way to phrase that... EDIT: I'd still LOVE to visit Norway Well its still free for people who don`t pay taxes, don`t drink, don`t smoke and don`t drive cars also. Of course most people pay for this via taxes during their lives, but say your a piss poor university student who gets ill who have no one who can financially back you, you still get free treatment unlike say if you lived in the US where you are on your own if you don`t have insurance etc. Also everyone gets a fair chance for an education, even if your family is poor you still go to the same university as rich kids, and as long as your grades are good enough you can become anything here, lack of money will not stop you.
Then again complaining about things being expensive here is sort of silly since everyone makes lots of money here. Even shitty easy no education jobs pays like 40k$ a year, but I guess no matter how well humans have it we always find something to complain about
