Wait a min. Your calculus is too crappy for a life sciences school, but not for an engineering school??? Canada has a weird idea of engineering, ha ha.

Canada has a weird idea of engineering, ha ha. Not rly it's just that calculus is not mandatory to learn in highschool. It is an elective, and most schools don't look at it anyways. I took the course just for pure fun and to see what 1st year course are like so I didn't put much effort into it. But waterloo is weird sincei t actaully requires you to take calculus.

I'm interested in their medical program so I'm trying to find out what I need before it's too late X( (1 summer left) study 12 hours a day. My cousin goes there and hes learning/doing a shit ton there, he has to study for hours upon hours every day to get acceptable grades. Then again he's probably getting a 4.0 and making it seem like hes getting a 2.0 because he's humble. Besides, that evanston is a sweet place. campus is beautiful, downtown is real close, and chicago is close as well. and for the med school just go to their website im sure they have requirements or w/e.

There are some problems/concepts that I find incredibly easy to understand and others that I find incredibly hard. And there are both people who find my 'easy' math problems hard and those who find my 'hard' problems easy. So whether someone finds math 'easy' highly depends on both their skill and the difficulty of what they are learning.

My brother's in Poland right now teaching English for the summer, but then he's coming back in the fall for school. Should I tell him to stay there? haha

Hey I'm at Northwestern right now and tentatively pre-med. I'm in Biomed Engineering right now. I've seen people get by studying the night before and people who study. Just do whatever floats your boat. Evanston is really nice though. Btw, are you talking about undergrad or the medical school. There isn't really a "medical program" for undergraduates.

Yeah but you all also pay like half your income to government. I guess in the end they balance out
