It's still a moot point; CalTech =/= Cal. That'd be like calling Texas A&M Texas or something.
|
Yea, Cal is no doubt UC Berkeley.

Lulz, my bad, I'm not familiar with California schools, I guess. I only wanted to go to Duke so I only applied to two state schools (Indiana and Purdue) and Duke. Didn't even explore elsewhere, mainly for weather/climate reasons.

Accepted @ UWaterloo and UToronto, and currently debating between them.... uwaterloo obviously personal bias out of the way, for what programs? that's kinda important Engineering Science @ Toronto and Chemical engineering @ UWaterloo Engineering at U of T > engineering @ UW UW has a world renowned math program, so if you're taking math = UW but U of T has a world renowned rank.... Which campus are u at? and wat residence?? personally i'm at U of T... toronto is an awesome city man. :D St. George (downtown) campus. I'm don't know what my residence is yet, but I set my first choice as new college ( i think because it was the closest to the engineering building?) What program are you in? Are you in engineering?
i dunno much about eng sci at UofT, but i know chemeng in waterloo is pretty hot with co-op and all. i think UofT still has that extended one-time co-op thing though? which is also great, although nothing's really stopping you from taking longer than 4 month commitments in UW either.
if i were an engineer, i'd be able to offer more info i guess, but i only know what my engi friends tell me
p.s. waterloo has a world renowned math program? really? do you mean grad? i thought for undergrad, we were famous for computer (MIT of the north and all that) and our pre-Macc stuff.

Pet peeve: ___ is the ___ of the ___.
Seriously. Harvard is Harvard is Harvard, there's no "Harvard of the ___," etc.
Really irks me when people say that in an attempt to bolster their own status -.-
