Hagan senator in NC. GOGO dems!

Dole got her ass handed to her: 55 % to 44% IIRC. Ad about Hagan being ungodly really backfired apparently.

Gogo, 60 seats!

you assume that every republican will want to filibuster
there are enough moderates in the republican party that not having 60 dems might not be a problem
not to mention the fact that not every democrat is going to like every proposed law
whether he'd help to filibuster his own party though..who knows

LoL, the under 30 vote is the same size as it was 4 years ago.

So much for young people coming out in waves.

Yeah... I actually was standing in line behind an older couple when I went to vote a couple hours ago. He didn't ask me anything about who I was voting for or anything like that, he just wanted to know if my friends were voting too.

We need to turn this into a live reports thread, just for the fun of it. I say we make SC analogies.

Once McCain lost Pennsylvania it was decided.

Obama is our next president.

No it was amazing. Tom Daschle out of the senate, GOP gains in both houses, and Kerry lost.

Its doesn't get any better.

To victory in Iraq and 2 good judges on the Supreme Court.

EDIT: Mostly the judges.

You haven't read many of Savio's posts, have you?

Edit: Victory sure as hell is subjective war and dead civilians is more accurate

So, I am not a Bush fan in many ways. I think he and other Republicans have been behaving like democrats in many ways (increase governmentment spending, etc.).

That bothers me. But he is no doubt better than Kerry would have been.
