given that's how hillary feels, it would not be a feeling that hillary supporters would endorse unless they are just off the wall. by the worst estimation, hillary may be driven to great lengths by pettiness, but she knows that now is not the best time to display that trait. her image needs polishing, so displaying some grace and support obama is the right thing to do for herself.

The only woman on earth dumber than Sarah Palin is hitting the campaign trail for McCain.

How depressing is this news, Savio?

Palin is actually pretty likable. I disagree with everything she stands for 100% but if you agree with her issues she is a likable, good-looking (in a physical sense, which matters a lot to pretty much everyone whether they admit it or not) candidate. I would think a lot of people in the Republican party inside would be annoyed enough with her to not want to give her the nomination in 2012. Plus, she still has to run Alaska after McCain loses and that will most likely go horribly wrong. But, if Palin somehow runs against Obama in 2012 we'd most likely see a bigger landslide than this year.

Unless Obama does bad as president. Obama has everything going for him, this recession will be gone within 2 years so the final two years of his presidency should see nice economic growth. I like Obama, but he also has a perfect storm of shittyness coming together to give him this presidency and also probably the next presidency. I hope he is a good president because I really do like him, I hope he proves himself.

Lol, I have nothing I can say here because I run a "TV Free" house. I plugged it in only for the debates.

So I have never seen The View or even heard of this woman.

I totally, thought this was gonna be about Ann Coulter.

Ann Coulter is a greedy and subversive bitch, but I think she's actually fairly intelligent. She's just dishonest and knows how to make $$$ off it.

Hasselbeck is just 100% bimbo. Hot, but bimbo.

Palin won't run for President in 2012. If McCain doesn't win, she will most likely be viewed as having dragged him down. Also, its unlikely that she changes her image a lot in the next 4 years.

In 4 years look for Romney again, maybe Huckabee. But you never know. I can't even think of who will run in 4 years. Maybe McCain again???? LOL.

I think the only path Palin would have to the Presidency is if McCain wins, and she runs after he leaves office having 4-8 years of experience under her belt.

I think McCain will be too old, but Romney might have a shot.

If Jeb Bush had any other brother, he'd be a front runner as well.

Palin shouldn't have accepted the VP nomination. Palin is crazed for power, she probably will run for president in 2012. Power is very obviously her most defining characteristic. She might not get the Republican nomination, and her reputation might not improve, but that doesn't mean she won't run. There are a lot of Republicans that are in love with her. If Obama does even a decent job as president he is assured two terms. And the way the polls are looking ,if McCain wins this year I don't know what the fuck is going on. Look at latest polls today, they are so crazy I don't even believe them: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/latestpolls/index.html (Thursday, October 23 polls I'm talking about)

Romney will never ever be president, or even the president elect. I don't think you can have any more boring of a personality and a speaker than him. Maybe in 1850 he could be president, but in the 21st century with television, he has no shot whatsoever. He didn't even get the vice presidential nomination. It will be interesting to see who the Republicans nominate in 2012, either their party is going to reform a lot the next four years or they are going to go super conservative, i.e. Palin again. They are running out of options. But four years is a long time.

This is true. I am not a Huckabee fan.

And I don't think that running ads calling himself the "Christian Leader" is gonna get a populist like him elected.

Romney is a very straight coat kind of guy, but he does well in interviews.

Also if the economy goes bad while Obama is Pres, then Romney really has a foot to stand on. He can argue that his extensive experience living in and adding to the economy helps him understand how the economy works better than Obama's "community organizer" experience.

Romney ran this cycle on a social platform, when he should have run on an economic platform.

I think he has a decent chance in 4 years depending on circumstances.

EDIT: And maybe he should sell a few of his houses so they can't be used against him.

Maybe super conservative is a big reform for the Republicans (besides just social conservatism). I mean after 8 years of Bush Republicanism, a true reform could lead back to Gingrich style conservatism.

BTW, this is what I hope happens. I think the GOP has lost its way and needs a serious reform to get back on its feet. I don't think that minor changes will save it. Its gonna take a while to regain confidence on fiscal issues.

I see Mitt Romney kind of like someone like John Kerry. They are lukewarm candidates, they are both brilliant and would be good presidents but have low likeability for whatever reasons. I think when the Republicans lose this election they are going to obviously look for change for next election. Mitt Romney is not who the Republican insiders are going to be looking for.

Lemme get a bit offtrack and say, man, why the fuck the republicans spam so much Family values, Small town values, w/e values.

We are in a progressive society, todays values wont be the same values 50 years from now, why is being a conservative a good thing ? I Have no simpathy for the republicans, and i hope theyr party shreds to pieces in a sea of unpopularity

It's going to very very soon, because most young people agree with you. Atheism and liberalism will eventually rule, oh sweet nothingness.
