that just sucks for all the WoT fans. luckily he left notes and the option for his series to be finished. now i just pray this doesn't happen to martin, because he explicitly stated if he were to die that the series would not end, and i would cry myself to sleep if that happened. | ||

tlnet has became a graveyard. a RIP bandwagon. it's depressing. the ones who knew him through his books (or we) should say some words about him, his ideeas, his views, what kind of person he was and so on. you should praise the man and his work, not his death. the other ones should just shut up. i don't understand how RIP acts as a eulogy. | ||

(no one here attended his funeral) i really don't see what's wrong with someone posting RIP who didn't know Robert Jordan personally or didn't have some deep meaning with his words. for most forum users and for 99.9% of his readers he was a writer and that relationship of reader-author shouldn't be discarded as "no idea who that man was." a lot of someone's personality and passion show in their writing. who are you to say who is qualified and unqualified to wish someone "RIP" or what that means to each person? | ||
