Musk had to sell to pay taxes. The immediate gain on the value of options issued as compensation is taxable income. If he has a million options at $5 strike price then he owes taxes on $1000-$5*1,000,000. He has to sell a lot of those shares immediately to cover the taxes on the ones he’s keeping.

They've got a railroad sector that is in debt a trillion dollars, unprofitable in the good times, and will suffer greatly if the economy tilts down as it is. Its also a source of national pride and prestige so I really doubt that they'll tolerate any cuts to it. Its going to be a massive millstone around their necks for a generation.

All their debt is going to make buying more us dollars to keep their currency low harder and harder.

O&G dividends this year are beautiful - got more than double what I did in 2020. Oil is still struggling to break the $80 floodgate, currently pushed back towards $70, but unless we get back into significant lockdown mode it's only a matter of time. Nat gas prices heading towards the moon. Hoping for some chilly winter weather to push them even higher, but even with average winter those prices are going to have upward pressure for years.

Market is looking very green today but instincts tell me it’s gonna dip shortly after. I set my stop sells on my volatile positions lol. Sadly NIO is one of them, why that stock continues to go up and down like it does is beyond me.
