He is living on another planet if he thinks this will evoke sympathy after Ford.

If he's guilty, he definitely deserves it (and more). If he's innocent, it's another matter. Now does he believe himself to be innocent or did he condition himself to behave that way ? Pretty sure we will never know. Whatever happens, I believe the damage is too high to have him on the court. He seems too angry with democrats to be fair in the future. His holier then the pope attempt when there is a heap of evidence that he drank and partied a lot looks to me like he knows what he did and is lying, rather then then a counter attempt by an actually innocent person.

Also, didn't he say he didn't drink? Or was it just he didn't get drunk
Keeping a calendar "to do like dad", yes. Putting questionable events in it, or all parties including heavy drinking, that might then be known to parents, no...

Everyone saying he is emotional..... you guys are crazy. You realize this has been rehearsed a shitload of times right? This crying is so fake. He has been grilled and re-grilled. He has practiced this statement. It's all BS.

Did he really say “Revenge on behalf of the Clinton”? Did I really hear that? Do conservatives understand that the majority of the country does not give a fuck about the Clintons or see them as these shadowy political operative pulling strings? No one watching Ford went “Hillary clearly paid her.”

There should be a serious question about his ability to be impartial after this opening. He basically called the Dems the enemy and out to get him.

He comes across as super angry to me. Which is understandable if he's innocent and under emotional distress. Maybe not the best thing to come across as when you have been accused of being an angry drunk though.

Seeking the limelight like this, having all these accusations come forward and not getting the SC seat you were promised must be a big blow.

Brett Kavanaugh claiming that his female supporters would be vilified in speaking out to defend him against the women who stepped forward as his victims.
HOW DO YOU NOT SEE THE IRONY IN THAT.
|
Yeah, I checked the calendar. No entry "got drunk, tried to rape girl, didn't finish, must try again" anywhere. Innocence proven.
|

I put all my rapes into a calendar. Just doing all the groundwork for the prosecution so it gets easier to sentence me later
Seriously this is one of the if not the stupidest defence I've ever seen...And he's a fucking judge?

At this point there's no way for them to confirm Kavanaugh without looking out of this world awful. Not sure that will stop them but hey...
|
I understand this was the Clarence Thomas plan from when he was being confirmed. But Brent isn’t Thomas and it isn’t 1991 anymore. The fallout from that was a record number of women being elected in 1992.
Also, you can’t say that you believe someone was sexually assaulted and also say they are part of a massive conspiracy created by the Clintons to get you. You gotta pick one of those.

Did not expect so many mobs on liquid who already made their opinion without any proof.
Fact is there is no proof and the story has appeared out of the blue before Kavanaugh could get an important position. Frightening for your democracy, really.
|
I am absolutely shocked that they are still having Mitchell ask questions. She is an ex prosecutor who put people like this in jail. She isnt going to provide a defense of Kavanaugh anywhere close to what the senators would.
@nojok your post reveals how little you have followed this case.

lol
he is not coming across very well
Edit: oh wait bbc had another video playing over the live feed

this is NOT true. it was know while he was on the short list already

Even disregarding whether or not the accusations are true, Kavanaugh has made an ass of himself and made it hard to believe he can be impartial.
At this point it looks to me like he's unfit to be on the SC even if the accusations turn out to be false.

Yikes. Granted, pictures can catch people at weird instances, but Sasse looks like the only one that's even paying attention there.
