Keep in mind that there are two sides in this argument, and they aren't each doing the same thing. One side is calling for all the allegations to be dropped and for Kavanaugh to assume his position, the other is merely calling for investigation and scrutiny in the face of some pretty serious allegations before we do anything else. That lack of parity is pretty telling.

God, I want there to be an investigation where they look at those calendars and find them to be forgeries. This has all been so dumb up to this point with his good little school boy act on Fox, I can't help but feel those things are complete bullshit.

But the trade war is very important for how the world will develop in this century. It is the prelude of the American/Chinese showdown that is expected to take place in one form or another when china,s economic power becomes larger then the economic power of the usa. I will keep bringing it up now and then,maybe next time is a better moment.

The problem with the trade war is that there is really nothing to discuss politically. The Republican congress has no plans to strip the president of his powers to set tariffs at a whim and only the elections will change the current stance.
The trade war is also a long term battle that won’t hit the general public until maybe next year. But companies like Walmart are saying it will be bad for prices. But until we start getting hit with an extra $250 in tariff tax on a $1000 iphone, the country isn’t going to pay that much attention. After all, there isn’t a lot of context for what a trade war feels like for the modern American.

Oh yeah I almost forgot. These women are out in the public sphere while Judge is in hiding and running from reporters (he ran to another state). Not exactly going to bat for his buddy Kavanaugh. If he isnt subpoenaed then it's impossible to consider this matter thoroughly investigated.
