No state is required by law to inform the state the person moved from that it is no longer there. Are you moving off of calling it cheating to file multiple lawsuits to try and overturn election results? We can agree on Trump going wider and further to a practice that you're calling part of cheating. So you'd call it burdensome and outlawed if some states required you to obtain an in-state license 10-30 days after a move? Just drawing from what you said about the annoying part on re-registering. Elections are carried out in accordance with the constitution, and if you have to change it to get your "easy change," you're really stretching the definition of what is easy. By design the constitution is hard to change. Also did you just ignore that some states have different rules on who is eligible to vote that don't match different rules on who is eligible to drive? You could move and lose your eligibility on one and both. There was an interstate voter cross checking system that at one point covered most voters to address exactly this risk. Essentially the Federal government wasn’t doing it and so a state started checking for duplicates within their own rolls. Other states thought it was great and voluntarily joined. The problem emerged around the time voter fraud became a highly partisan political issue because Republicans kept being caught. And so Republican led states started refusing to comply with it and withdrew. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_Registration_Information_Center It’s an interesting read.

The big issue in US politics is the massive amounts of “donations” and the costs of running a campaign. Clearly all those donations have huge implications in future policy choices and it should be the bi partisan issue that every American agrees is a problem. I think its strange that Republicans keep coming up with solutions to imaginary problems that would instead solve completly different problems if they were possible. Like the idea that Minnesota is the heart of Fraud. If being the heart of fraud gives you the economic sucsess of Minnesota we need to start doing a lot more fraud in america. If republicans really wanted to demonize america they would look at the cabal of unelected technocrats appointed by the governor that is given taxing authority, authority to dictate to local governments what they will do if they don't want their insurance as well as their state funding revoked, that operates the states major airport, that is not accountable to anybody, that is a literal cabal of people who decide the economic future of the people in the state. We're going to be the state for Rare gas distribution with Helium for medical devices, CO2 for agricultural production and for the largest accumulation of Helium three found in the world.
