Indeed.

Why lie when it's so easy to look up? mental illness is the most charitable assumption. It's important to remember he's also a deeply incurious about the world and how it works. My first interaction with him on this forum is when he announced that the Brits are weird for having an annual celebration of Guy Fawkes when in many ways he could be considered some kind of terrorist. The celebration in question is when Brits build pyres and burn an effigy that is called a 'Guy'.
He doesn't ask questions, either about the world or his own beliefs. He approaches understanding the same way a morbidly obese person approaches stairs, just sitting down on the bottom step and announcing that he'll go no further because he's literally too unfit to keep going.

Ah yes, the "akshualy" defense of saying stupid shit:
You didn't 100 % precisely describe the insane shit I said so I'll pretend I've never said that insane shit.
It's very funny how it's the favorite tactic of all of you guys and how when an opportunity to deploy it here pops up you swarm in like flies on poop.
Too bad there are receipts that anyone can read and see how full of it you are.

Well played, Colin. Well played. + Show Spoiler + Ragebait isn't necessary when someone's natural state is already a perpetual elevated rage. Rage is the default. The challenge would be to happybait you. I think it's probably a good thing for the default emotion to be rage when we're talking about Nazis. I agree with you that it would definitely be a challenge to try to happybait people while trying to connect things to Nazis.
When it‘s easier to get enraged about stuff tagged nazis but not about stuff that is done that the nazis did, maybe it‘s time to reflect instead. Like, dropping bombs on obvious civilian targets, promoting easier executions etc. Last time I checked there wasn‘t a threat by anything resembling the nsdap, but if it existed it wouldn‘t promote itself as such.
Progressive taxing to stop wealth from growing to obscene amounts just by holding assets isn‘t as repudiable as seizing assets.
