lol, great, and if we can stop time instantly, and give all the agents 15 minutes to do a zapruder film analysis of 10 different camera angles they might be able to determine how many guns he has on him. I also can't expect officers to magically assess how many guns you have on you when you walk down the street tomorrow or what planned masaacres are hidden in your head. He wasn't a US Veteran, he was a nurse at the VA.
He was shot by agents of the federal government, which enforces immigration law. It was tragic. Not what I said. He was almost certainly shot because someone believed he was brandishing or firing or had fired a gun. Another idea I saw is that whether the first shot was from his gun or not, or the shots all being from an agent or two separate agents therefore the gap, is that when the one guy disarmed him, the sight of his visibly empty holster led someone to think he was going to shoot imminently. Not that you are reading this, but if someone with a clear head sees it, I thought it was an interesting perspective on the dynamic that led to this. The fact that he didn't have his CCW and ID on him under Minnesota law (not federal) makes his carrying activity less legal. This is not indicating that he deserves to be shot, but it's corroborating evidence that he was prone to or had been groomed to idiocy.

Trump and his appointees can't help themselves. They instantly go to domestic terrorists and conclude the protester or activist was in the wrong simply for showing up armed.
