Hey guys totally don't focus on these big three things here that I am going to spell out and they are BIG btw.
Mr. Rivers, you haven't provided, nor has any actual respectable journalist/organization found anything politically damning with regards to the Hunter laptop. The dude has some videos leak of him with strippers and cocaine. That's about it. Nepotism was also used, this is shocking to some. Politicians would never employ such a tactic to benefit their family members.
Everything else is insinuations and conspiracies until proven otherwise. In other words it's not a story.
But I am glad that the equivalent of Portland / Seattle / Salem are utterly annihilated by a Russian invasion - and that we found a single hair thread that connects Hunter Biden to that area of the world - and that is now an actual talking point parroted by conservatives and Fox News. Who are true patriots that support our president during times of war no matter the party letter attached.

I love how it's always shit like "the question is what do they have on Hunter", when the real question is why the fuck would they have anything on Hunter? If Fox News had _anything_ we would've been hearing about it non-stop for the last two years. And why do we suddenly trust the Russians to have any integrity when they're, you know, actively destabilizing the entire world order by invading Ukraine, and have a vested interested in sowing disunity and discord among their many enemies...??? You can't trust the Kremlin to tell you that water is wet, or that it's not poisoned.

The ultimate test is to assume that Hunter is Don Jr and Joe is Don Sr, and then consider what your opinion would be, given the facts:
1. Hunter reserved 10% for the "big guy" in his foreign business dealings.
2. NYT authenticated the emails and stated that Hunter never referred to Joe by name but instead referred to him as Hunter's "guy."
3. Hunter and Joe shared bank accounts.
That is the evidence that's available. Personally I'm very interested in whatever comes of the DOJ's ongoing criminal investigation of Hunter, but I can understand wjy left leaning people would want the story buried.

Our opinion would be that its still better than the last president we had.
We had to see for 4 years the incredible extent of clear and open corruption by the trumps while they were in power. Hunter Biden doesn't have a job in the white house. Don JR had real responsibilities in the white house. Ivanka had real responsibilities in the white house. Jared Kushner had real responsibilities in the white house.
Trump didn't need to have one of his children pretend to be secretly trying to get money from the government when he could just go to one of his resorts and force the entire cavalcade that followed him to buy rooms at his buildings.
You seem to be under the dissolution that this is in any way a big deal even if it was completely true. You are being lied to by people who don't respect you enough to keep their lies remotely reasonable.

So, once again, you don't have anything but a 'lost' usb and russian claims to back up yours ? You don't want to put don jr and Hunter side by side btw, it's really not the argument you think it is. One is a crybaby and a crook who loves being in the limelight fellating his father for an ounce of aknowledgment while the other ... benefitted from his fathers name ... and does coke and hookers ... Wait isn't that don jr still ?

I'm personally very interested in not talking about this shit again until someone has actual evidence.

Did you apply this test on Don sr in compared to hillary and obama? There is proof of the donald doing all sorts of terrible things. This is for example why he can not have a charity anymore. We do not need to assume he was using his position to enrich himself, all his thousands of golf trips and so on did that. You can not whatabout this into something real. If a dem had some sort of info, they would turn it over to the justice department. And then all the trumpers would lie and plead the fifth like they ate currently doing. Which by the way does not mean they are innocent, but rather that they do not want to incriminate themselves.
You've just done a what about Trump which is the thing we keep asking doc not to do. I'm with newsunshine here, let's discuss this once there is actual evidence out.

With Biden's disapproval rating very high a little over a year in, what's the game plan for Democrats heading into 2022 and 2024?
Personally I was expecting Ukraine to be the big story put forward as a win for his administration, but his mean approval has stayed largely the same.
|
I dont think Americans are going to view Ukraine as nearly positive enough to justify high turnout.
I dont really see what super serious wins Democrats have to inspire people to vote for them, I heard Biden proposed a 20% minimum tax of billionaires, that might be kind of nice.
They'll probably lose the House and Senate though, Id say thats look super likely at this point.
Hedging on Not Trump will definitely pay dividends.

Milquetoast centrism really only succeeds at not being Trump. We have been feeling the impact of impotent/malignant leadership, and will continue to do so. I'm not hoping for much.

Thats one of the most depressing things I've heard all week, and theres a sad possibility that its not wrong.
What a country...

a very ‘don’t blame me, I voted for Kodos’ feel to it all for sure.

Yeah the filibuster has nothing to do with the broken student loan forgiveness promise. Not racing to the polls to support that. If its a close vote or if they lose maybe it will push the dems further left or help some better candidates rise up. Yeah, I'll concede this. I don't know what kind of political calculus Biden is doing. Like is he in the pocket of the loan ppl?
I have to hope that he'll be forced to do it before midterms, since thats the only big flashy thing he can do right now since Congress sucks.

Biden was one of the major forces behind making sure student loan debt couldnt be discharged in bankruptcy.

It makes his campaign promise to forgive student debt ring pretty hollow.
