Who has the most technically sound golf swing between them though?

If you read Commander in Cheat, Trump isn't a bad golfer but he cheats and lies constantly, just like in politics.

I don't understand it's not forbidden. It sort of falls in the emoluments clause, which has been under lawsuits since the day he took office. It should prohibit him from owning any properties that a foreign national can pay for the use of, but courts move super slow and a bunch have basically said no one has the legal standing to bring the cases about it, so it is effectively meaningless right now.

Not sure the emoluments clause is about money taxpayers (the govt) gives to his properties. Isn't it more about what he can or can not receive from third-parties and foreigners?

This I say to anyone who ever supported Trump or ever planned to support trump in the most sincere way that I can.
Go. Fuck. Your. President. He is not mine and never will be. This crosses a line of civility and politics that should never EVER be fucking crossed.

TLDR: Trump siphoning money from 911 responder funds because he's mad at gov Cuomo. Anyone who tries to frame it any other way is full of shit and doesn't understand how this dip shit operates.

One time I was playing golf and I noticed that Obama was in the bunker on an adjacent hole. If I hooked my shot, I would hit the president (this was back when he was still in office). Secret service kept "wanding" me and I demanded a free stroke due to the distraction. The secret service agent laughed and said I probably should get a free stroke.
I don't know how good of a golfer Obama is, but he did seem to get out of the bunker and on the green in one shot, which is pretty good. The only thing I know about Trump is that he drives his golf cart on the green. That is taboo and worse than everything else he's ever done.

This anecdote definitely beats my meeting Hillary Clinton one anyway.
I do like this thread having the occasional lighthearted touch, makes hearing shite like first responder funds being tapped into slightly more bearable

I think one thing conservatives won't argue against is that as a person, Trump is for sure the worst overall person to be president in recent history

I bet a lot of conservatives think Bill Clinton is evil.

I mean in terms of personal morals and presidential communication? Probably so.

Abortion and gays. That's basically the entirety of it.

A little history goes a long way.
Trump's evangelical support comes primarily from the same evangelical groups that opposed ending slavery, supported apartheid South Africa, Jim Crow, etc.
Those that don't understand Trump's support from evangelicals don't know the history (or contemporary position) of evangelicals in the US
EDIT: Figured this was obvious, but jic I'm talking about *white* evangelicals.
Found someone writing about this from last year:
So it's not surprising that white evangelicals supported the Muslim ban, are the least likely to accept refugees into the country (according to the Pew Foundation) and, though a slim majority oppose it, are the denomination most likely to support Trump's child separation policy. White evangelicals certainly are not concerned with white supremacy, because they are often white supremacists.
And Trump appeals to these evangelicals because of his focus on declension, decline and destruction, which fits into evangelical beliefs about the end times. When Trump used the term “American carnage” in his inaugural address, evangelicals listened; they too, believed America is in decline. Their imagined powerlessness, and the need for a strong authoritarian leader to protect them, is at the root of their racial and social animus. Their persecution complex is a heady mix of their fear of “socialists,” Muslims, independent women, LGBT people and immigration. Their feelings of fragility, despite positions of power, make them vote for people like Donald Trump — and morally suspect candidates like Roy Moore. Rhetoric, not morality, drives their voting habits.
