Part of em thinks the Mueller report doesn't matter because Trump people simply won't care what it shows because anything he does is worth it to fight the "deep state". Yes and Yes.
People who support Trump now will probably keep supporting Trump because they are to far down the rabbit hole.
But those alone is not enough to win an election so it will hurt his chance of re-election. (can the GOP stop him from running again?)
Even if it doesn't matter in the end, these things should be investigated and I would expect there to be a significant tail end to this when Trump loses his protected status as President, be it in 2 or 6 years.

It's not really about the independents for Dems so much as driving turn out and getting people to vote, basically the same as always. Non-voters pretty convincingly lean liberal/left and (unsurprisingly) most independent voters are actually lifelong dem/rep voters who stay independent because they dislike the party, but like it significantly more than the other one.

Independent voter really seems to be a hold over term from when the more of the population identified as remembers of the political parties. The old thought process was that the parties made up 40% of the voting population each(80% in total) and the remaining 20%ish was up for grabs. But now both parties are around 25-30% of the population that freely identify as either Republican or Democrat. But the rest of the voters still consistently vote for one party, even if they don't identify as a member of that party.
Now, I can't tell if this is a big change in how people vote since the 1990s or that political experts never really had a firm grasp on the why the voting population does anything. I am inclined to lean towards the latter based on recent elections.

Mueller's investigation is now complete. I'm hoping that the report gets made public despite that one (or more, can't really remember) laws put in place after Nixon. Regardless of its contents, I hope Barr takes appropriate actions and, should an indictment be recommended, that it gets carried out.

My bet is the people who know details will be small at first. But I have no doubt there will be plenty of sources willing to claim they know what the report says.

Man these next few weeks are going to be drama filled. I hope we dont have to spend too much time fighting to get the report to the public but I imagine we will. My guess is the WH will claim executive privilege on huge swathes of the report, which will cause a fight. Plus there is the whole issue of Barr ppssibly redacting parts relevant to Trump and his family because they weren't indicted.
Still, I'm confident the leaks will be fast and furious if any significant is hidden.

Barr and the justice department have it now. I would expect the White House will get to know what is in it at the shortly before congress does. Barr ins't doing to make any changes or do anything beyond release the report to the leadership and White House.

The amount the Justice Department makes public is going to be a point of confrontation. That was always going to happen. I do not believe, however, that will hold true for the congressional leadership. They will get to see a large amount, if not all, of the report(they may not get a copy of that version)

First question I want answered is how long it is.
Also, I'm curious to see what, if anything, is covered beyond the collusion and obstruction of justice issues.

My bet is that the conclusion will be no obstruction, no collusion, but with a couple investigations ongoing in SDNY and wherever else.

Don’t worry. We are going to get a shitshow. Given the lack of further indictments against Trump’s team, expect the DOJ to start going after the dirty FBI/DOJ officials (and possibly others) who got us into this mess now that Mueller is done.
Also, and as a relevant aside, looks like my predictions about Trump, Jr. and the tower meeting are going to age quite well. Imagine that. There is going to be a lot off egg to wipe off of people’s faces.
