At least, that is the argument you would need to refute with people who have zero interest in listening seriously. I bet a link to Politifact showing Trumps 70% lie ratio compared to Obamas 27% isn't going to convince anyone either? I think they would have to argue that his lies are are for the greater good or some sort of negotiating tactic or something. I don't think there is any way at this point you could consider him honest, even his supporters must see that he constantly is not forthright. https://www.politifact.com/personalities/donald-trump/statements/byruling/false/ Oh, beaten to the punch

Republican dude brought in a black lady as the classic "well, well well...you say Trump is racist...and yet, I have behind me, a black woman who works at the Trump org and she says Trump isn't racist. Check. fucking. maaaaaaaate" he asks her to talk. She says "As the daughter of a ___ ____ ________, I should never work for a racist!", implying Trump is totally not racist. And he replies "Neither should I as the son of a holocaust survivor"

I'd say he's doing a good job at clearing his name and showing himself to be a better guy than we would all assume. I think he's very concerned about his legacy and how his family feels about him.

Oh, beaten to the punch Politifact's already been accounted for. I've seen it described as a partisan hack website that's biased against Conservatives. As, indeed, are most people who care about the truth. It's all the lies that does it, I think.

Cohen: I’m not sure how appearing before congress would help me with the southern district of New York, but if there is something this chamber can do I would gladly welcome it. Again, the honesty of Cohen about not wanting to go to prison for 3 years dumbfounds Republicans members. On February 28 2019 02:06 Velr wrote: Whats the point of the guy just going on a tangent whiteout asking a question? He is allowed 5 minutes. He can waste them if he wants. The Democrats are smart to not get involved and just let Cohen take it in the teeth. Congress is political theater. Some congress members are about quality theater. Others are just there to hog the spotlight whenever it is available .
