Oh my dude.
That is actually your argument lol. My is exact opposite. I dont know, maybe hire a tutor and reread it with said tutor.

What a shocker.

Hey mods, is this blatant bad faith behavior an inalienable right?

Does anyone else find it odd that the people who came to power on not trusting governments now want the government to have the power to kill people in public every time they need a PR boost?

He might've missed "all the lawsuits, injunctions, temporary restraining orders, reversals, lack of state compliance, and protests" because he's been reading too many articles like that one and assumed a falsehood.
You of course realize that alleging 100 violations of court orders harmoniously coexists with Trump indeed not possessing free rein? Go ahead and state that for the record, if you dare.

Yes I know, having a constitution that gives everyone rights is so annoying. Which is why I bristle at people implying that Trump has free rein. Even immigration courts (final order of removal etc) operate by Congressionally-passed statute.

So he's talking big game but failing? While being unnecessarily reckless and cruel? What a shocker. He talks a big game, and fails repeatedly. Kilmar Abrego Garcia had a court appearance just last week in the US. They'll argue the law, not whether Trump's hilariously-alleged "free rein" means he's gone and stays gone.

They have a budget bigger than most country's militaries and freely ignore court orders. That actually proves they are too impaired to get the job done. Yeah, makes sense.

Having to follow the constitution as the government is sort of supposed to be a given. And with that free reign he has done.... just shit.
Its funny we had a far right government in the Netherlands recently, ran into the exact same issue. Kept trying to write laws their own bureaucrats repeatedly told them were unconstitutional. Got absolutely nothing done and when the electorate looked poised to slap them for doing nothing they blamed their coalition partners for being unwilling to defy the constitution to vote for illegal laws and brought down the government in a huff and a puff.
Turns out none of these anti-immigrant parties actually want to genuinely fix the issues with the immigration system. They rather sabotage it and complain how its not working, much easier not having to come up solutions.

Yeah, makes sense. I'm wondering how all these appeals to the Supreme Court and reversals of government policy based on adverse court rulings can exist in easily-verifiable facts while you still spout insane bullshit like Trump "freely ignore[s] court orders."
The one problem with the "resistance" if they have such idiots spouting nonsense among them. Trump makes an order about birthright citizenship. Courts stop. Guess what? If he freely ignores court orders, he would obviously revoke it immediately by fiat. He didn't. Thus, he doesn't freely ignore court orders.
Trump wants to deploy the national guard in Chicago. The lower courts stop. The Supreme Court leaves their ruling alone. Guess what? No federalized troops to Chicago. Clearly, Trump freely ignores court orders.
Trump wants to change mail ballot rules through the executive order on the USPS. The Court blocked ahead of the midterms. It remains blocked. We're currently holding midterms without them. Clearly, Trump freely ignores court orders.
My one request, LightSpectra, is that you differentiate yourself from Trump by not following Trump's example in ignoring contrary evidence and holding to your opinions in spite of the evidence.

He doesn't have the Congressional majorities to change things that he doesn't like. He's stuck with the laws on the books, and that limits him. We should be happy for that, not doomers that believe alternative facts.

I'm not trying to catch you out I'm genuinely curious as to how you see things. In every common and correct use of the words Trump and Republicans have had free rein. But hey, anything to avoid answer the question right.

Do I really have to add stipulations when Trump has as close to free rein as it is possible to get?
This objection just reads as pedantry to me.
And I still haven't had an answer from anyone.
