Now that I've read the rest of the topic and all this shower stuff, I gotta say, I shower everyday, twice if I go to the gym that day, ALWAYS! I can't wake up in the morning without a shower and I find BO incredibly offensive. I notice it on myself if I don't shower and it bothers me. Other people's BO really bothers me too, and I hate it when people don't shower and are around me that day. I have a feeling that if I met Bill during day 3 or 4 of one of his no shower runs, I'd have to make a comment about it in a passive aggressive way, in the hopes that he would be clean the next time I saw him.  | ||

.Actually, I am curious about how I smell to others after a few days with no shower. I've noticed that many people have a smell to them, but usually it's not offensive or bothersome. Sometimes it's their shampoo or fabric softener or something obviously scented, other times it's just... them? Anyway, it's rare that I'm around someone who smells bad. Maybe it's because I'm rarely around people who exercise a lot? God, I remember once in class I sat down beside my friend and the other guy next to me, he was a big muscular white guy and he smelled awful, like he had just been to the gym and never showered. As usual, I made no attempt to hide this fact, as I moved up against the other side of my chair as far as I could go, gasping for clean air. I don't know if he took the hint because obviously I was never going to risk sitting next to him again. During my exams a couple of weeks ago, there was a period where I'd gone for about 5-7 days without a shower, and (stll without a shower) ended up meeting this girl to study for an exam together. I guess that says something about how interested I was in her. Anyway, I don't think she noticed and generally we had a fun and productive time together. Although, she did stress the fact that she had to shower between today and tomorrow otherwise she'd feel gross. Maybe it was a hint? | ||

I honestly don't think it makes a difference if I go one or even two days without a shower .Edit: The only reason I would shower more frequently than that is if I am going to see a girl and I feel insecure about how she feels about me. Our skin was never meant to be cleaned with soap anyway, so with the exception of girls who use exotic plant oils and stuff all over their body, my skin is probably in better condition than most other people! | ||
