That is probably really useful considering it will decrease cellphone load quite a bit, which a great asset and a problem in these situations. Yes, I found it quite useful. Still trying to locate a friend I hope you hear from them soon. Be safe.

I just hope for my own mental sanity that my facebook friends won't start spamming that button as a joke like they did with the Nepal earthquake.

According to a journalist that was allegedly in the hall and could flee: they immediately opened fire. Also, from what i understand, the terrorists used grenades.

Yes it was closed and the attackers failed to enter it. In the bataclan they were not beheading, but killing with their guns.

Not in the stadium and not beheadings, they said something about shooting people one by one. Other reports mentioned dismembered bodies but it was caused by explosions.

Raid is over. if u kill 2 terrorist and save a bunch of people damn right thats succesfull. Let's see how many civilians are dead before we call it successful, shall we? Less than before the Raid entered GIGN only discharged their weapons 5 times before, right? Googling it, I think that's GSG-9 (the German guys). From 1972 to 2003 they reportedly completed over 1,500 missions,[1] discharging their weapons on only five occasions. Oh, can't remember where I read that, might have been Counter-Strike. Thanks
Yeah, it's one of the flavor texts on the loading screen in CS:GO.
