Its the same as a buy falling off his bike and smacking his face on the ground... If someone tells you the story, the guy broke all his frontal teeth spending a shit load of money repairing his teeth and his broken nose plus for the rest of his life he will have trouble because of that stupid mistake. yet you see a guy trying to make a stupid trick on a bike and landing on his face... its funny. You are not laughing about a child about to die, you dont laugh about the suffering of a guy when he knocks his teeth out. | ||

Humor should have no boundaries. There are so many morbid jokes out there that many people find hilarious but you want to make exceptions for this and this case, like they are something special (compared to the other jokes). I didn't see the vulture/child picture with PWNED written on it, but Baal posted an example of a picture that wouldn't be funny without PWNED written (a grown man punching a young innocent girl). So the word PWNED does add another level to the humor. It's a mix of the nerdy PWNED humor and dark humor. This reminds of the "not" joke - just by adding the word "not" something can become funny. Listen to comedians like Jim Norton and Lisa Limpanelli to gain a better understanding of dark humor. Or watch the documentary The Aristocrats, about the famous aristocrats joke and various comedians perspectives on it. | ||
