His posts, on the whole, are easy enough to read and understand. Many people just don't care about spending time on perfect punctuation and grammar. Then there is the worst kind of all, the ones that do it with the specific intentional goal of ruining the forum, every thread and creating constant havoc . They usually are members of other failing forums, or that have already been rejected by another forum, who deep down are on a mission, consciously or unconsciously to ruin their new host forum.

GI was saying that proper punctuation and grammar usually make people think more highly of you. Whether proper punctuation is truly indicative of intelligence or not, that is true that people generally make such an assocation.
In j0ehoe's case, that is a moot point, as the bad form of his expression matches the crassness of the content. Its not so much us putting ourselves on a pedestal as him digging a hole for himself.
