Part of his suicide note read:
"I am haunted by the vivid memories of killings & corpses & anger & pain ... of starving or wounded children, of trigger-happy madmen, often police, of killer executioners...I have gone to join Ken if I am that lucky."
(Ken refers to Ken Oosterbroek, who was shot while capturing township violence in South Africa)

1. People who don't act humble and post as if they're better than everyone else. I might have been guilty of this a few times but I've tried to make a more conscious effort to be more humble in posts. This is the main reason why I hated on Dark]N[exuS so much. Yes some people have more posts than others, some know more about SC than others, but I think being humble is far greater than being proud. If you post really politely and try to encourage new posters to be better posters, imagine what a thriving community we could have. I used to be a terrible poster. Mycube actually told me I made wtf threads. I was determined not to be a bad poster and tried to contribute in any way I could. Now I've graciously been accepted as a scribe boy to keep some history.
2. People who start threads with <100 posts. It's okay if they do it for an interview or translation or news post. But a lot of times, those with <100 posts just haven't gotten the gist of the site and could have spent at least 5 more minutes and found the answer to what they were looking for.
3. OPs of Tourney threads that DON'T put the results in spoiler tags or put ANY info about the coming matches. If you're gonna make a tourney thread, it has some responsibilities with it. Put some previews, I mean HonestTea does all the work literally. All you gotta do is copy and paste and give credit to the sexy man. If you're gonna start the thread for the tournament, you might as well stay til the end or put the results of what you saw so far.
4. "Diarrhea" threads Coined by the great Manifesto, the words speaks for itself. It's like a totally unnecessary thread spills out even though it can be answered if they just reading the freaking News or click on Forum and see a more extensive forum recent history.
I'm sure there's more but I can't think of some right now.
I swear to God, I make it into EVERY single one of your posts, JKilla. It's unhealthy, you oughta get over me. Seriously, if someone being "mean" to you in an online forum can make you talk about them ALL THE TIME then you need some help.

I hate ungrateful people who complain about this site despite how much it gives.
I hate people who demand but do not contribute.
I hate people who ask questions that are easily answered by reading.
I hate people who hide behind smurfs to insult others when other people back up what they say with their reputation.
I hate people who think this should be a professional website with journalistic writing that doesnt offend anyone, when in reality it is a fan website run by vollunteers.

If you change hate for dislike, since hate is a little too strong a word for me, I agree 100% Add to it people that use three accounts to argue with you, and agree with each other (when its just one tard) or smurf tard that brings in all his other tards to help him out.

"Whiners and "your always wrong" posters i.e. those who are there ONLY to argue back, anything, the subject don't really matter, and specifically when they have never added much to the forum, community or game. "

why do you stress being humble so much? this is maybe the second or third time i've seen you said this.
here's my take on it - humility for the sake of humility is really fucking pretentious, and don't get me wrong, i'm not saying it's something you show. from what i've seen, i think you're a good guy, but it's a pet peeve of mine in real life when people brush off achievements or praise with things like 'no, i suck' when they clearly think they're the shit, or when there are others around that are far worse off than they are.
i'd much rather everyone be realistic about their own abilities without being too cocky. hell, i'd much rather have arrogant people who really can back up their shit than tons of simpering assholes that don't know how to take a compliment. there are too many christian asians (using this as an example because i used to be close friends with a lot of them years ago, before they joined the religious crowd and changed; also because i know you're in this group [not necessarily in a bad way]) at my school who have these dual backgrounds, both of which stress being reserved but in the end only make their people fake and disgusting.
what really sickens me is when people completely demean themselves before 'God' (i use this loosely, and the apostrophes are not meant to offend), and trivialize themselves until nothing really rests on them anymore. where is the individuality, confidence, and pride in being human? is it impossible to worship and be faithful to your lord while knowing and acknowledging honestly where you stand in the world?
just look at your last sentence. you were graciously accepted? no! you proved your merit through excellent posts and effort, and it was clear that tlnet would greatly benefit and be honored to have your help and contributions. the way you insist on phrasing it seems like it was a miracle that through hard work, you rose in the world (or at least e-world).
ugh flew off topic and just kept on going. summary: i agree with you that a little modesty is important, even refreshing, but i can't understand why it's repeatedly one of your top values. again, this post isn't a flame =) just curious

Acting modest is something that everyone should learn to do without having to 'act.' We are all on the same level here... We are all human beings... I don't see why everyone and their beliefs/moral what have you can't be takin into consideration. Kinda like putting yourself in their position. This place is full of superiority complex, and I got ride of mine in 11 grade. plzkthnxbye
oh, superirioty is spelled with a 'u'

no, he killed himself because he got a glimpse of hell, not because he took that picture.

No, he felt like he should've helped the girl instead of taking the picture.
