I do not want to smoke in the park, for obvious reasons. So I was thinking about making brownies. Just throw some in a plastic bag, and have my girlfriend keep them in her purse to pull out when our high from smoking before we go in wears off. Having never made brownies though, I am going to ask my fellow TL'ers to direct me to a recipie that they have used with success in the past. :D So... any links? | ||

im pretty high right now, wake and bake ftw now i wanna play sc but i know im gonna suck ... fuck it lol. oh, making brownies is fairly simple. fyi dont use good weed, its a waste. try to use regs as that will do just fine and will be much much cheaper so you will be able to use more. Honestly just use your favorite brownie recipe, but instead of using regular butter, use the butter with thc from the weed. a google search for a good simple recipe turned up: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/quick-and-easy-brownies/detail.aspx to make the thc butter, just get as much butter as it says in the recipe and put it in a pan. heat it up over low heat and put the weed in there evenly spread. u may wanna break it up beforehand. you want to let it simmer for a while, dont heat it up too much or your gonna cook the weed and burn the thc, u want it to cook slowly. let it simmer for like 30 minutes stirring occasionally. then when its done strain the weed butter to remove the pieces of weed. and what u have left is what ull use for the recipe above, u can refrigerate the butter or use it melted, ive found it makes no difference. | ||

I would recommend using a double boiler as opposed to cooking your cannabutter in a pan. When you're throwing a bunch of money worth of weed in there it's not really worth the risk if you burn the butter. A double boiler isn't hard to setup and it ensures your butter won't ever get past water's boiling point in temperature. Then you can be safe to leave it for 1-3 hours (depending on how patient you are) to let it absorb as much thc as possible and not constantly monitor it edit: Also the finer you grind it the better. You want the most surface area possible for the THC to absorb into the butter. | ||

My favorite baking recipe are for snickerdoodles. Just google any recipe. Super simple to make, and contain a lot of butter, so you know they'll be nice and potent.
