+ Show Spoiler + I just took a ton of adderall right now. Does anyone get an AMAZING feeling when they are on it? Whenever I'm on it, I just an overwhelming sense of optimism. I can find compliments in anyone that would usually bother me. I'm even over the top, to the point where i'll have to tell people in person "sorry, prepare for compliments from me, I know this is weird." I'll tell my friends that are girls that are pretty that I think they're beautiful, etc. (haha although I don't lie and tell ugly ones they are pretty :X), I go off on long random rants, like I'm doing now, and tend to focus on one thing intensely, whatever I feel is the most productive (right now, what's most productive is getting immersed in the SC2 scene, instead of studying for my midterm tomorrow which is why I took them, FML!). I'll tell my roommates I'm really appreciate of how nonconfrontational they are sometimes, I'll ask good friends if they want a hug, haha I'll chat with people for hours on FB, man I love this shit. I don't even get a comedown, because I rarely take it, usually only for school. After I refocus on my Managerial EConomics, which prob won't happen for another 30 min, I'll end up dominating that subject too. I wonder how different it is for people that actually need it. Note: I took 30 mg, so it's a decent amount for someone without ADD (I actually might have it but for sure wouldn't need 30mg, maybe 10 mg). Also, it helps my fatass lose weight since all I do in college is play video games, get hammered, work a desk job at an accounting firm, and study (and I study a fucking lot, got a 4.0 GPA at UCI all my junior year, although only 3.85 last quarter  ).PS. I <3 TL.net even if I act like a dick to people sometimes, I've tried to improve my posting since my last temp ban, don't think I've openly flamed anyone since it, even though I disagreed with the temp ban itself (all I did was call someone an arrogant prick for an OP saying to someone else "you obviously have no idea what you're talking about, I'm right, you're wrong" and "you're a fuckwod") But at the same time I understand it's from otehr post history too, god I got to stop rambling, and maybe give the mods who do hard work a break from my criticism^. Tried to make that positive, sorry Nyove if you're reading this. | ||

Hm well I was prescribed adderall for ADD and as far as I know adderall and weed counteract each other, while causing your heart to race in a bad way (from personal experience.. idk if you are high or not). I only take 10mg every few hours, no more than 30mg in a day, and never on days I smoke. If you don't take it regularly the side effects will be stronger (suppression of sleep/appetite, increased talkativeness, the polar opposites of weed). It helps me focus, but I still have to be focused on the right thing, so I always take it as I'm opening up my text book (no, not after I read these webcomics or check TL). There's not really a comedown, especially for the extended release capsules (the ones generally prescribed), the effects just wear off over 5 hours or so (probably sooner). Adderall has improved my quality of life immensely, but I don't need it to function. Also, it's nice having extra pills because I don't take it on days I get high (i.e. study days) | ||

I get a completely different high from weed. I get super lazy and UNPRODUCTIVE, the opposite of what I'm feeling now. I also get insanely hungry, once again the opposite of what I'm feeling now. I think I interpreted it as more of a "under the influence of something" or "intoxicated" thread, which in retrospect I could be wrong . I manage to get super high whenever I smoke nowadays because I don't do it regularly anymore, maybe once every 2-3 months or something.Shit, my mind really is unfocused, I typed up that paragraph above after reading your first sentence, and then just read your second one, so sorry for being redundant. I was told here is a sort of comedown from adderall though, maybe it's just not me though. But my heart is indeed racing, and my legs are getting somewhat numb (regular side effect whenever I take it). Mine weren't extended release though. I absolutely love it as a substance, but I've always been insanely scared of substance abuse, as the health classes/education system concerning drugs actually did an amazing job concerning me, despite how everyone criticizes how ineffective it is. If it weren't for that DARE shit in 5th grade and 9th grade health class talking about all the negative side effects (and possibly overexaggerating them), I very well may have delved deeper into the drug realm. I still think I'm going to try salvia, shrooms, and ectasy one day though. Until then, weed and adderall are all I've taken. | ||

Salvia, i tried it and it didn't do ANYTHING to me, felt a little heavy for like 10 secs...Shrooms, i tried it and didn't really do much for me either, til my friend showed me this video on youtube and it was just kinda trippy. But when i got home i was just watching tv, whatever was KINDA SCARY was like 10x scarier than it was hahah...Now, for exstacy...First time i tried it with some buddies at their house and it was fuckn amazing, so i was like we have to do with where I'm at an event where i can talk to people (mainly girls) n shit...Because I am very social so i have to talk to people about anything, i'm usually like this in everyday life, but when i take a pill i just love meeting people and talking about anything... So the second time me and my friends went to EDC (electric daisy carnival) and we took some and it was probably one of the top 5 moments in my life. We all met some cute ass girls... then split up and just went on an adventure with the girls ... and after that, I went to get some water, met 3 different girls, brought all 3 of them back with the group and somehow i managed to make out with the 3 of them, then danced with them for like 3 hours nonstop, so yeah amazing night! The 3rd and final time i took them was at my house, was just me my buddies from the first time. We talked about some pretty cool things and listened to some great music and they have been the best group of friends ever since. I know people have had bad experienced with E and shit, but it's one of those things that people really should try once in their lives, it changed a lot of my friends for the better, wayyyy better. So to end it, I'd recommend you trying it once, and make sure it's with good people that you know. Edit: Oh also, we know it's bad and still a strong drug and we promised to only do it those 3 times. Probably will never take another pill, it can be too addictive lol. | ||

If you've tried E, can you do a comparison between the two? =D | ||
