so for the past few months, a close buddy of mine has started club promoting in seattle, and i became acquainted (actually am friends now) with some of his friends/co-workers.

i went to their house (the manager of the promoting agency has his own house, and a lot of the promoters live there) and kicked it with them, and to no big surprise, found that it's one FAT drug house. lol... oh my, the temptations are pretty stiff and scary. i went this morning to grab something from my friend, i walk in at like 11AM, everybody's up, they said most of them didn't sleep cuz they were all rolling on pills or something.. and someone was taking a line of yayo as i walked into the door. -_-;; it's actually kind of sad, and as such, i'm determined not to become too close with them as I may be led to more drug addictions (as of now, i'm still just a daily pot smoker yay ;D)

I had heard alot about adderall before, and always wanted to try it. I don't have ADHD but recently, it's been seemingly harder to focus and study, especially reading my textbooks.

Yesterday, me and 2 friends tried aderall, i took just one and they took like 3-4. It took a while to kick in, but when it did, I have to say it was a very pleasant experience. I would say, it ALMOST feels like the coming up part of exstacy, you feel more energized, talkative, friendlier, and it's no lie when they say it helps you study or focus in. you just get into the zone and concentrate and do things really well. we spent last night at a pc bang just playing hon and it was hella fun

THE PROBLEM: i just took one pill, but once i got home at around 5AM, i was laying in bed for around 2.5-3 hours before i was able to fall asleep. I woke up today and got in contact w/ my buddies that took them w/ me last night, and neither of them slept, at all. nor ate anything for all of yesterday.

i knew it was too good to be true... the kind of feeling that exstacy invokes, in a much lighter, but still pleasant way, was too good to have its bad consequences. But that didn't stop me, lol. here I am again the next day, i just took another one and cracked out my textbooks and started reading. it REALLY does help; when i read my philosophy book, i usually have to read it really slow, re-read a lotta sentences to grasp everything, but while i'm on this, i can read it fairly fast and maintain all the information and make sense of them better than when i'm not on adderall.

so, i've decided to make it a priority to get myself prescription for this.

I was wondering what everyone else in here has to say about adderall use, i guess i'm enjoying it more for it's recreational pleasure but i can't ignore the potential pros it has for my schoolwork, i think i can do much better in classes with it.

Do you guys think it's pretty safe to use recreationally? I wouldn't be popping like 3-4 a day anyways, i think just even one is pretty good for me. Also, if anyone actually does have some kind of prescription to ADHD medicine, could you tell me how you got it? like when you went to the doctor, what kind of stuff did you have to tell him (symptoms, etc) and what's the most guarantee-able method i can go about so i can get adderall prescribed to me, and not some other treatment medication for ADHD?
